  2. That is the perfect definition of what a turbo does, you are correct!! and thats why its called a TURBO TIMER, however like i said above cant do any damage to the car, so if u want one on an NA why not? apart from looking slightly wierd and eating more fuel... hame
  3. still waiting....lol my cake was the shizz
  4. We should meet up some time Eugine have a chat about my brakes... shit yeah, i would if it didn't cost an arm and a leg! i looking into the nismo ones but they are a fortune. I looking into braided lines for the engine bay too. no anyplace to get them cheap??

  11. haha nice we all @ uni? crazy wat uni's we @? i''m @ griffith doing psychology, just finished my first year so i cheering. I fitted a new alternator today it stopped my squeeling problem (look in my topics) however it off another rb25de will this matter? everything seems to be going ok? tighened all the belts and everything better than they already were took it to pick up the miss's and she drove beautifully, problem solved! was fun lil job to do as well. As for the brakes going to get them a freshen up tomorow (The calipers anyway!) laterz...

  13. meh! fine so replies! anyhow, i finshed installing the alternator, started her up! YEAHA!!! no squeeling!! i so happy, she all good again! but is the previous post's questions could be answered then that would be appreciated!! AMP difference. I have tightened up my belts even better then they were before i had the car back, i going to pick up the miss's from tafe, so i'll see how she drives. Thanks for the imput the tutorial was great dOOdz apart from i did not take of my FMIC pipe lol was lazy made it a little more frustrating, i did most of the work from under the car as i found it alot more accesible? anyhow thanks for all the imput guys!
  14. hey guys i bought the 33gts alternator, looks to be in good condition, small differences are: the 2 x earths on the back and the major positive wire location, this shouldnt be a problem i dont think. - turbo one is 80amp - non turbo is 90amp will this matter? i installing it as we speak let me know what ya's reakon. Hame
  15. either that or atmo's bov not tight enough?
  16. i can get one off a rb25de for 70?? this a good buy and will it be a direct fit?
  17. well actually i do have an unlce called bob which is kinda funny n weird! lol i like the sound of the drilled and slotted, but yeaha being a uni student money is rare, so i was thinking maybe just stock DBA rotors with gts-t calipers...its sufficent enough correct?? Any of you guys have an alternator for me!! i need one!
  18. i have a apexi DI dual pannel forced pod filter and it gives a considerable amount of sucking noise, but what i'd call loud! i had a FORCE FLOW pod on my vp commodore and it was so loud even on idle.

  20. ahh okies, u said offer, man, offer still stands, it needs painting! PM me
  21. It is a very simple mod to do, where u located, i'll do it for you if ur close by, anyhow is it cheap? depends on where u get ur CC from, what brand it is and what it is made out of. installation can be slightly tricky but i'd say it a begginers/medium mod.
