  3. Hey guys, getting rid of some parts I have laying around. -R33 2dr Stock Catback no rust, good condition (can deliver to Sydney for cost of fuel) $300 -Compliance Cat good condition. Suits Stagea, Skyline r33 and been told it suits r32 and r34. $85 good to clear defects Has ID numbers so EPA will heart u !! N/CE 91006,1109, 91006 212007 -Cusco Coilovers good condition, no knocks and not too harsh a ride. Similar ride to my Sydneykid Bilsteins $250 -VSPEC GTR front and rear struts springs good condition no knocks. ~65000km $230 Cheers Nick pickup Newcastle or post at buyers expense.     Just went through this process. Was 2 min from home and the time wasting Popo pulled me over for an RBT and when they were about to send me on my way said btw you will be receiving a notice in the mail to get a noise test. I suggest you ring up the Office of Environment and Heritage and ask all the appropriate questions. He will tell you that you can't have a BOV that vents to the atmosphere, if you have a pod needs to be enclosed. My car got tested over the weekend. For the GTR the requirement was 90db @ 5100 rpm. I got 89db Thats with stock catback and compliance cat. Ask the office what type of cat you need and if a FMIC is ok. I have been told by the inspection station that hi flows are ok, but you best check with the Office. EDIT: THe inspector said that in the last week some changes have been made (for the better) At the inspection they go over your emmissions devices to ensure that they meet the requirements and he will do a noise test then put your car on a hoist and take photos which are sent to the Office. Silencers are OK but they need to be welded in place ie you cant just have screw on silencers and butterfly valves. PM if you have any questions
  11. Jap car wise around Mongkok Kowloon you will see a few tuning shops but the focus is on late model jap performance cars ie r35s ,evo x, sti . If you venture out into the New Territories you will see more cars like Evo VI-IX, r33- 34 GTRs, s13'-15 etc. Go to the newsagents and buy the Option Fans mag which is like the HPI mag. It lists the tuning shops.

  13. No I dont cut laps. I was 2 mins from home and the timewasters pulled me over for an RBT. Does anyone have a stock compliance cat s13,r32 or r33 GTST GTR,Stag or Ceffie are all the same.

  19. In my experience, my s13 was takin to my preferred repairer. The assessor from the party @ fault will view the car. And work out how much damage there is and how much they will pay you out. . They work out the value of your car and also take into consideration what mods you have done to the car. They will give you a figure say $12000 you then negotiate with them and say you've done this and that to the car and you think its worth more. Then in my experience then will offer say $15000 and they say you get to keep the wreck. They then send u a cheque in your name not the repairers name so its up to you if you want to get the car repaired. In my situation I got the car towed to my home and sold the wreck. Also I went to http://www.acornrentals.com.au/ and they gave me a hire car and Acorn claimed the money back from the party at fault. I had the car for 4 weeks (time taken for me to get the insurance settlement) So in the end I was happy with the outcome!!!!

Good Condition only 11000km First registered in 2008 Oct 2011 Rego New Rear Dunlop tyre Tinted Front Screen Selling as I am getting my full licence. Its a really good bike to learn on. Cruising on the highway at 100km/h it sits on ~4000rpm not like the 250 Ninja which sits on ~8000rpm. Still has restrictor in place so is Learner legal. If you take out the restrictor its double the power jumping from 30kw to 60kw. Never had any problems with it , comes with full service history.   21. The Autech s15 has ~145kw so yeah similar kw to the ADM Turbo s15's but the DET has more torque. So you would still be comparing apples with oranges.
  22. Just had a look on Just Cars. They're still not very competitive. NRMA were suprisingly quite reasonable! And they have a sliding scale for excess and agreed value.

  24. if u want it louder take it to your exhaust shop and get them to replace the mid muffler/resonator with straight pipe
