I have the same noise with my r32 gts25, it has the rb25de as well and is making the metallic noise around the same rev range. I have only just started noticing it within the past 2 weeks( have had my licence for a month now lol) my exhaust seems to be running quite hot as well, but not hot enough for the exhaust overheat light to come on. Ill check my cat and exhaust out on the weekend anyway. Ps i have an auto gearbox and flushed it out as well as the torque convertor and replaced with new fluid but still sounds the same.

so does anyone know where to get a auto gearbox filter and gasket from and how much?

Hi as the title suggests i want 2 know how to reset my r32's automatic gearbox lately its been changing at higher revs then normal and would like to reset it if possible.Im sure this will help, i checked the fluid and it is really dark, so im gonna flush it out and change the gearbox filter as well. anyone know how to reset auto gearbox? anyone know where to get a auto gearbox filter and gasket from and how much? thanks

hi all i have decided to paint the surround of my stereo but i dont know which colour will match my navy blue skyline (pic below). Im thinking of either silver or white, but i thought i would get some input on it to infuence my decision. Anyone have any pics of a navy blue skyline's color scheme, and some input on what colour would match it. thanks

Dont worry peeps, i am going to cut into the parcel shelf with the help from my brother who has done it on past nissans. I will take fotos and hopefully make a diy tutorial out of it, to help everyone else with this problem. thanks anyway

Hi Yeh im only 16, but i juust dont know much about skylines at all, as i really wanted to get an s13, but then i found the skyline.So i havent done that much research on it. And no im not going for the turbo at the moment, just wanted to now where i can get an na turbo manifold and exhaust, and if i need anything else to get them to fit? thanks anyway

running quite low on money lol, so im gonna make some spacers out of mdf, put the speakers in the spacer and bolt through the speaker, spacer, wooden parcel shelf and into the metal parcel shelf. If anyone has some pics of their own 6x9 rear install could they post up pics and info on how they did it? Thanx

do u have any pics? how thick where the spacers? did u make them out of mdf?

Hi i recently purchased some sony 4 way 420w 6x9 speakers for $74 and i am wanting to put them in the rear parcel shelf of my r32, i noticed that the hole in the wooden parcel shelf fits 6"speakers and same with the hole in the metal underneath, but i dont want to cut up my metal parcel shelf to install the 6x9s. Anyone done this b4 without cutting the metal hole bigger??, i am thinking of spacers but i am still quite confused as i have only had the car for 2 weeks and i dont want to screw it up yet. I have looked everywhere on this site but i can only find topics of people making a new thicker parcel shelf on r33's. Images welcome of 6x9 rear parcel installs
