hey guys just chasing an aac valve thats at the back of the plenum on an r32 rb25de motor (has 2 plugs a brown and a purple) tried putting an rb20det valve (one brown plug) on but it only has one air outlet at the bottom of the valve which comes straight down compared to the rb25de which has a right angled air outlet at the bottom with a vacuum connector

took me about 3 days on and off 2 mould the drivers side fender in, pics below empire aero said the passenger fender should be another week as the mould is just about made for it
-
hi again, i got a hold of empire aero and my fender should be in stock soon he said i put my drivers side fender on permanently the other day i ended up using a whole tube of sikaflex 227 and i sprayed a whole can of expanding foam onto the inside of the fibreglass fender right before i put it on as to make the fender more rigid and unacceptable to cracks if anyone leans on it, the good thing was like the sikaflex the expanding foam was polyurethane based which i guess helps with adhesion to. i used pop rivets to put the fender on 2, will post up pics in the next few days

Tps Problems! Solved By Unplugging A Plug?

someone must know?? -
i would say yeh the fan clutch as youve eliminated everything else does ur clutch fan seem loose (worn out) eg. with the engine going can u stop the clutch fan? (use something like a rag to stop it) anyway should only be like $30 for a second hand clutch fan another suggestion may be the stock guage is reading wrong like most skylines try an aftermarket gauge as itll be tons more accurate

Tps Problems! Solved By Unplugging A Plug?
adoboy666 replied to adoboy666's topic in General Maintenance
anyone know? dont wanna be driving it if that plug unplugged could cause harm to my engine -
hey guys ive been having troubles with my car which would rev and stay at 1500rpm at idle and would sometimes act normal and idle at around 600-800rpm when driving the car and revving it it would seem to bounce around with the revs every now and then and would lose power every now and then like i turned off the engine, although it wouldn't stall it would be revving up to 3000rpm then would just cut out and drop to 1000rpm then it seemed like the motor would just kick back in and it could rev again i hooked my stock ecu up to the laptop with my consult cable and found i had ecu error code 43- throttle position sensor i logged the throttle position sensor voltage output which changes from 0.6v closed throttle to 4V full throttle and when the car started jerking the throttle voltage output would go to 0.0V. After getting a second hand tps from the wreckers it did the same thing, so back to the wreckers i went and got another one which again did the same thing now today i had a play with it and it seems that the car hasnt been showing the symptons yet since i have unplugged the big chunky plug with wires that come out of the bottom of the tps anyone know wat this plug is outlined in the pic with the red arrow? does it go 2 the automatic transmission ecu or something as my car was once an automatic now manual oh and the sealant was on my old old tps which i thought i could fix with sealant

Hey guys was wondering if anyone knows if the r31 clutch for the radiator fan bolts to the r32 fan as in are the r31 and r32 clutch fans the same As my clutch fan has crapped out and i found this on the dayco site http://www.dayco.com.au/PartInfo.aspx?P=115800 If anyone here has replaced there r32 clutch assembly with an r31 assembly let me know as these clutch's sell for $130 compared to nissans $400 would be a cheaper alternative for all of us thanks

thats true but anyone done this before? how did the turbo cope?
-
hey guys i have an r32 with a rb25de motor and i have a spare rb20det turbo was wondering how the turbo would cope with the rb25de motor? im guessing it would be spooling up alot faster compared to a rb25 turbo im not looking at running much boost as i want to keep my motor alive, ive heard when u turbo a non-turbo motor the most boost u should run is 8-9psi depending how the turbo goes i might run half that as wouldnt running the smaller turbo on a bigger motor hurt the turbo?? or would it just max out earlier, im guessing i would have lots of low down torque when the turbo spools up then it would probs max out buy 4000rpm any turbo experts like to shed some light on this??
