  1. maybe we should organise a r32 and r33 regency pack with std items like shocks, exhaust etc that we can have people use to get through, then all items are stored until someone else needs them? Maybe like donate the items to be held at a single location, then lent out (with a deposit) as needed? Obviously someone would have to keep the items to be given out, and organise it all...
  2. Plum back bov is a std piece of equipment and must be in along with all piping and recirc. hoses... Aftermarket bov's are not allowed.
  3. cool. Press in me subrame bushes then biatch I'll get em based on your report
  4. dude i got done for 10mm on the rear. Usually they can issue a $180 fine for "Driving an unroadworthy vehicle" at the same time as giving a defect if they wish. Being nice helps u 90% of the time. Would u be nice to your customers at work if they all came in and abused you for doing your job?
  5. no offence to you or your car, but big shiny rims as well as the number plate offset ala JDM style will always attract attention from the police As sad as it is, if u want no attention u need the car as close to std as possible. Being nice is always good, as its not worth the hassle if they get nasty..
  6. Ill take these for the cost of postage if u wanna post them?
  7. sucks about the alias thing... police tend to pick the most obvious thing -like the a pillar gauge, as its a full inspection if they send u to regency regardless..
  8. were u being a smart arse, or just going along with it? Getting done for a tint defect wouldnt warrant 2 interviews and a trip to the local... Return car to completely std, and then be prepared for them to find worn bushes or oil leaks u didnt know u had...
  9. dyno time.
  10. depends on the colour of your car
  11. Form the looks, u can unbolt it in half, so u could get in there and give it a damn good cleaning of all castings...would be good to see the inside Id still want to do other things for power before spending on one of those..
  12. I'll give ya $50 for the auto
  13. im lucky actually and have a spare small fridge here as well Either one will do nicely...spose i can use the freezer as a storage setup if i get kegging *Dream sequence* Now just need to know how to get the best use out of the setup with regards to what i can make with lower temps...
  14. Looking at investing in one of these : http://www.mashmaster.com.au/store/product...;products_id=28 i can set it up with my chest freezer here, along with a heater belt i have, and i can pretty much get some good temperature control now.. Is anyone finding this interesting, or should i go post whore elsewhere??
  15. All of your q's will be answered when u start working on it.
  16. follow the line through the firewall to the gearbox, unbolting where its bolted in...unscrew from the gb and it pops out....
  17. Updated with pics of actual manifold. If no more offers are received by this friday, it will be sold to the highest price offered so far.
  18. if u wanna mangle it, then u need one that doesnt quite fit. Hammer it on then try undoing it...
  19. Unless they have the exact set that u had (why would u want a common lock nut??) do what theives do and bang on a large socket then un do em. U obviously need to buy new lock nuts then...
  20. that would be one of the advantages of doing batch highflows, as you could match a set that flows all roughly the same.
  21. yer the rb20 / 25 has an oil filter housing which bolts onto the block, then the oil filter screws onto that. I swapped it to the rb30 thinking of using all the std rb20 gear (when i put it into my r32) and it leaks oil when used with the rb30. Just screw the filter straight to the block, or u can put the oil cooler gear in between the filter / block if u want.
  22. Got a shit load from of clear ones from a mate yesterday, so tis all good
  23. Where do u keep the car...bottom of a sand pit? ps good work
  24. Nothing wrong with an auto rb30. In fact hed have a faster car than u or i if he kept the auto...put an mv auto shift kit in it, and it will be as tough as your rb25det box. Rb20 gearbox will last for a while too. Cubes ran his for over 12 months before it let go, now hes going auto as a matter of fact, so its in his favour to keep it in. Hell even im thinking of going auto. U are speaking to the wrong person to argue about a 3lt
  25. Indicators, side skirts. If u want to be anal, the inner guard liners, or just extend the ones u got to meet the new guards. Then slap on a genuine front bar and u are away
