I wish that the pricks that stole were killed in these types of accidents. They would be doing society a favour. We work damn hard for our cars and these idiots come along and take 'em cos they think they have a right to do whatever they want.

Bout time something started happening. This is only the first step though. The courts need to dish some serious whoop ass on these people. Maybe they should take a hand off them like they do in some other countries that might deter them a little rather than a 6 month stay in hotel de la jail.

Sorry to hear that man! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for it. I get the feeling everytime that I take my car out and leave it somewhere that I am dodging a bullet. I really need to get my alarm installed. This is just getting rediculous. The thing is there is nothing we can do about it other put an alarm in and pay our insurance premiums. We get into trouble if we do anything else.

no that's true, but the law is the law even cops have to follow it most of the time.

They can only defect you if the stone chip is on the driver side half of the windscreen. if it is on the passanger side half of the windscreen it is not defectable because it doesn't hamper the drivers vision. I had a cop pull me over cos I wasn't speeding while he was using the laser gun while I was in my ford Laser which has a massive crack in the windscreen on the passenger side and he didn't say anything after inspecting my car and that was a real piece of junk. A guy I knew once had a cop try and defect him for something similar and he checked up on the rules and complained at the station and they tore up the defect notice.

Then we get defected instead of the cars with no breaks getting defected :|

Geese, I am liking owning my skyline less and less in some ways. I love driving it and it such a cool car, but at the rate they are getting stolen it is almost turning them into a cruise only car. You can't leave them anywhere without that fear no matter what security system you have. Any those guys that tried to boost your car will probably just get a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again.

She hit a car! Well no wonder looking at hers. I would be spewing if someone driving a wheelbarrow bumped into my car. Given it was my first cruise, I still was wondering what the hell a laser and a couple of the others were doing there. The datsun I could understand a little, but the others? what's up with that. I have to admit the Mazda looked nice though.
