  6. Now with a few more ponies mr brakes are really letting me down, firstly because my rotors are shagged, they're being replaced with the dba 2 piece rotors. I'll be doing a bit of track work and was wondering what peoples thoughts are on brake pads? I'm using brembo calipers. ultimates? are they up to a day at the track withstanding high temps? green stuff? I have been told don't bother! race brakes? have heard good things but no first hand experience. pagids? hear nothing but good things, besided the price! Cheers Simmo
  7. Yeah still using single plate, not sure how long it will last but seams fine so far. yep stock cooler, stock airbox with kn panel. I calculated roughly 390hp flywheel, not ready for more yet, everything happens so much faster!! you have a gtr coming yeah? Cheers Simmo

  9. I have the dual sbc spec R, yes it has a little screen that displays peak boost or'boost guage' etc
  10. Done I'm very happy with the results and the service from CAS I went in with 170kw @tw @17psi in the morning, and in the afternoon I had 215 kw @18psi. ...and everything happens earlier, its so much nicer to drive! thanks Simmo
  11. thanks guys, I ended up with the blitz, I've had one before with great results. It may not have the bells and whistles but most people say it is more consistent with boost control, and its much more discreet! thanks Simmo
  12. Six speed gear sets are available for the standard 32 gearbox also afaik, anyone know much about these, cost and who makes them etc? Simmo

  14. What would you use on a GTR? afaik blitz is a little more consistent as it uses 2 solenoids as apposed to one? Anyone know of any comparisons done? Cheers Simmo
  15. Suspension, wheels and brakes are done. Straight line performance has been the last thing on the list, although I'll be reviewing the suspension, I'm not completely happy. CAS know how to charge, but can you recommend me someone that will do a better job? driver training? You don't need this when you have a gtr, a gtr will teach you how to drive, I swear my car talks to me! thanks heaps guys.
  16. Thanks guys, who does the thermostat? nismo? Yeah will prob tune for 18psi, CAS seam to think it will be fine???? sooner they expire sooner I get 2530's
  17. clutch is done, will most likely do oil air at the same time. I still have standard turbos, so will probably keep the boost around 18 psi, fuel system should be adequate afaik. Cheers Simmo

  19. Hey guys I'm around here also, charcoal 32 gtr probably spotted me about the traps.
  20. At this stage later this week I'm having the power fc, ebc and cam wheels installed and tuned (gtr) I have full exhaust and k&n panel insert. What else do you think I should do at this stage with these mods? Oil air separator maybe? CAS will be doing the job. thanks Simmo
