  1. Simple question really. I want good response, mainly a street car with the odd track outing. Which turbos do you think I'm better off with? Cheers Simmo
  2. Your email address doesn't work! Please post a working email addy so I can contact you please.
  3. If this helps my car was dynoed at CRD last year with 17 psi, 3 inch exhaust from standard turbo dumps, read 170kw at all four. fitted PFC, EBC and cam gears and achieved 215kw at all four @ 1.35 bar. its a 32 GTR
  4. Whats the condition like? Does a recaro fit a bride frame or has it been modified? ta Simmo
  5. I'll take the rear...........but anyone know if they bolt up to the rear of the 32, like the fronts do? Simmo
  6. anyone know where you can bet on the race?
  7. I have a recaro I'd like to put in my 32, anyone know if 33 seats bolt into 32's? Reason being recaro don't appear to list a frame for a 32. Cheers Simmo
  8. I'd love to make it but thats not going to happen I don't think I hit the bumpstops up front on the rd, and our roads are quite smooth here. Other than that I like the kit, its not bone jarring stiff its a nice compromise.
  9. 10 000 for mods? wow man you'll have the craziest gtr on the block, sorry couldn't resist! get a budget of about 100k for mods, or buy an 32 and mod it! Cheers Simmo
  10. OK Feroda racing pads all round dba 2 piece rotors up front, slotted but not drilled. GP 600 racing fluid. Nismo braided falken 115's 2653518 I am not all that surprised that my brakes aren't quite up to the task, so many people told me that with roughly 400hp that would be the case. complete whiteline works kit, bumping bump stops up front. I'm leaning towards a setup very similar to some of the targa gtr's. hicas operational. wheel alignment settings not sure, but street not track. First time in this car was down to 11's hand timed after 10 laps, was improving each lap but split an intercooler hose. I think I was doing 200kph through the kink before turn one, I think. Yep i know ED. Keep the advise etc coming guys, invaluable! Cheers Simmo
  11. Thanks guys most of the things you guys mentioned are being installed or modified atm. I thought I had brakes sorted, ie brembos braided lines and good fluid but 5 laps at wakefield and I'm all outa brakes! anyone want some brembos 2 piece rotors and race pads? Ap seams the best option, they'll be going on soon $$$$. Gearbox I'm not going to go overboard with, just a 98 spec with double syncros and a twin plate. 2530's seam to be the go, I think they'll get the nod. Anyone want some whiteline bilsteins? only about 5k km on them. Car is kinda on the road, just has a split intercooler hose at present. but its got to go here there and everywhere to get bits and pieces done. Who do you guys use in canberra to play with your car? Cheers Simmo
  12. Mate i remember you, we had dinner together in sydney with GTIR crew years ago yeah? Catch you soon, maybe at the track again. Cheers Simmo
  13. I'm going to upgrade the standard turbos soon on my GTR, its a street car that does the odd circuit day, but will be going to the circuit more frequently in the future. Its not over the top, Power FC, cam wheels etc. Internals are standard, and will remain this way for as long as possible. I realise with turbos I will need to upgrade fuel delivery, and possibly the intercooler. Afaik there is basically 2 options, 2530's or N1's. Can someone explain the different characteristics of these turbos please? Cheers Simmo
  14. yeah it was nice to catch up wrxkilla sorry I'm confused who are you? Simmo
  15. Yeah sweet day guys, I left early (like 11am) with a split turbo to intercooler hose better luck next time. Simmo
  16. i think www.justjap.com.au and www.nismo.com.au cheers Simmo
  17. Unique autosports in sydney maybe? justjap maybe? or try nissan for a new one. Good luck
  18. yeah mate since the extra ponies where installed the gearbox has gone down hill quickly, just the usual syncro problems they have. Not sure which way to go yet, I'd say i'll lean towards a PAR Gearset. And I'll be needing a twin plate while i'm at it! .......and an old guy reversed into me, nice tow bar job to the right rear Q just behind the door The joys of owning a performance car! I'll be at wakefield tue 16 sept if anyones around, should be able to nurse the gearbox around. Simmo
  19. and those tyres sound awefully narrow for a 9.5 inch rim, would be suited to at least a 265 I would think.
  20. afaik the best offset for an aftermarket rim for a 33 and 34 GTR is about a +12 and for a 32 GTR +22 hope that helps
  21. No thats not me but i've seen that one around, very nice !
  22. burgundy 32 is not a gtr, its a gtst
