    Xmas Cruise

Sounds awesome, great cause. My girlfriend and I are definitely in.
  9. Mine's insured with JustCars and still NSW registered, will be WA soon, but they didn't bat an eyelid.
  10. What, no pics?
  11. Just saw it on the news, really sucks. He will be missed.
  12. AFAIK, you only need a permit if the car is unregistered and you brought it over. Otherwise your free to drive around on the NSW rego until it's due. I was told something about only being allowed to drive it here for 3 months, but it's not really something they can check on, it's more a recommendation because it would mean the car is probably going to be a permanent WA car, so it should be WA rego'd.
  13. Damn, shame I missed it, was installing my HICAS lockbar!
  14. My car was NSW rego'd so I'm still driving around on NSW plates and rego right now, no fees for temporary movement etc. I will have to take the car over the pits here I beleive to have it transferred from NSW -> WA rego. Shouldn't be a problem as most things are pretty stock (especially engine wise). The process was all pretty simple, and at no point was my car "undriviable" or "unlicensed". We'll just have to see how I go when I take it over the pits next month.
  15. I fitted the bar onto my R33 just last night and what a pain in the ass it turned out to be. The instructions are all correct and they're simply, but my bolts etc. were on SO FREAKING TIGHT!! Definitely recommended that you crack the seals on the 4 sided bolts BEFORE letting the unit hang. I also needed to disconnect a bit of my exhaust as it was in the way of one side. If I was able to undo the bolts easily it would have taken 30mins at most, but instead it took about 2.5 hours, most of which spent just trying to get good leverage on the bolts. Would have been nice and easy with a torque wrench or something. Will be getting a full wheel alignment today, even though it seems to be driving pretty straight at the moment. Now all I need to do is disconnect the HICAS globe and everything will be perfect.
  16. True, I'm quite interested to see the ratios a bit. We all know who'll top the charts but it's the percentages I'm interested in.

    Canon 40d

Cant say that tells anybody much. You could have got the same shot out of an IXUS. The 40D has some nice features, but I can't warrant an upgrade from my 30D.

  21. What's the requirements again? Just helmet and license?
  22. The only issue i see there is that they dont point down. Cops will probably argue that they "dazzle".
