  1. My mate just bought a red TME, very awesome, but the stickers are a bit much IMHO. And then my friends brother has a standard VI, also very awesome. Puts out 300hp @ all the wheels, and pulls like there's no tomorrow. I'm tempted by them, but I think my next car will have to be a GTR.
  2. I think they make your seats look like a wrinkly vagina. I'd rather stick with the bluish stock trim any day.
  3. I got done for speeding a while back on a hand held, I was so surprised when they flagged me down out a group of cars and showed me a screen that said 81km/h when I was 100% sure I was going 65 in a 70 zone because a car coming the other way flashed me, and I knew exactly where they were (they're at the same spot a few times a week). I had a chat with the guy and essentially he said it's my word against his in court, and he believes I was going 81 (even though I was behind a bus that would have been going less than 70 too). So I had no choice but to pay up and watch them strip me of another point.
  4. Full comp for me is about $1600pa. for my R33 GTS25t with a $19k agreed value. But I'm on 3rd party fire & theft at the moment for about $350pa.
  5. Oh and if you need any help with the HTML/CSS, give me a yell. http://flickr.com/photos/levibuzolic/sets/72157594537269622/
  6. Forgot to mention I've got 235's ont he front and 245's on the rear. But I'm planning on upping the rear to 255's (pretty sure they'll fit).
  7. On my 33 GTS25t I've got a set of White Enkei's in 17x9JJ38 (Rear) and 17x8JJ38 (Front) and they fill almost perfectly! My car is pretty low though too. I think to fill it just a little better, I'd go half a size up on both the front and the rear, but I think the back would probably need flaring if that was the case.
  8. Put my gearstick booty on today during my lunch break, looks great, much better than my old worn out one!
  9. 187.9kw @ 6700rpm 1996 R33 Skyline GTS25t 600x300x76 FMIC (China) JustJap Racing Split Front/Dump JustJap Racing De-Cat Pipe Full 3.5" TRUST Cat Back Manual Boost Controller @ 10PSI Pod Filter SAFC Neo Was hoping for a little closer to 200kwkw, but the Neo is a pretty rough tool, so hopefully a Power FC will see that goal come a little closer.
  10. More skyline flamage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4Q_WwXroy0
  11. My brother is a tinter and to get old tint off they use very fine steel wool. Doesn't make a scratch on the glass surface, but peels glue, tint and other gunk away pretty awesomely, maybe try something like that?
  12. PM me some basic approx prices for wash & detail and possibly some paint treatment, my R33 could do with some loving.
  13. My new avatar is a good example of how big the flames are getting on my car now. It's running very rich. Off to get a tune soon, hopefully it wont stop the flames completely!
  14. I've got one, fit is far from 'good', but once you manage to get it all fitted right, then it's great, just as good as any other china kit. You will need to tap a nipple for your boost controller/actuator, but some metal epoxy and a screw-in-nipple does the trick pretty easily. I have some photos if you need help.
  15. I think I'dd prefer to pay a little extra for the plastic one.
  16. Use some metal epoxy. Did it on mine and it's some crazy strong stuff, only costs about $10.
  17. In need of just a gear-booty.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmrM11u65SE recorded mine on my camera phone... will use my better camera some time and get a better video.
  19. With the appropriate data steams I could probably manage to do an interface in Flash/AIR.
  20. Interested, but it really depends on the availability of tuners.
  21. I'll talk to my boss, we've been itching to set my R33 against his Monaro for ages.
  22. Man that sucks, I think i remember hearing that you can take them to court for loss of wages and inspection costs -- don't quote me on that! But chances are it'll be just more wasted time and effort.
  23. I had my car sent over by TNT AutoTrans, very good service. Mine too 12 days I think. But I imagine it could take less depending on when the next shipment is leaving. And the biggest reason it takes so long is because it goes Depot -> Truck -> Rail -> Depot -- I'm pretty sure.
  24. At the moment I'm subtracting 2 coils to get the active number, so maybe have a checkbox thing that says "for skylines" which will modify the 2 in the equation to a 1.5?
  25. Any suggestions for the Javascript version I'm working on?
