i dont know what to do with the dry paper/cotton filters. if its cotton it could be washed i guess.

i over-oiled the pod last time and the afm was sooo oily. i think thats why its intermittently misfiring. im doing plugs thisarvo anyway. brake pads next week. and im painting the hubs black and calipers red. should look pretty sweet on a white car.

i clean my $25 cheap shit pod with the k&n stuff. all the cleaner is is dishwashing liquid and the oil can be bought anywhere.

i let it idle for ten then strapped it. HOLY SHIT it soooo much better. i gently pushed the xlr8tor to the floor at about 3000rpm in 2nd and when it hir 4500rpm it breaks traction :) heaps more power

i just reset my ecu, cleaned afm and cleaned and oiled filter. i left the battery unplugged for 36hours to reset teh ecu.

this was the exact problem i had. fixed my crazy aircon. it was all over the place. and now when i turn it on it starts in the footwell and then moves to the dashvents and behaves alot better.

A BP depot is next to the servo i use (I know my fuel will be fresh all teh time ) and I decided to walk in and have a chat to the rep.... He says the three major petrol manufacturers that make 98RON fuels (BP, Shell and Mobil) each make their own 98RON fuels and dont share it between themselves. BP make Ultimate in Perth and Brisbane. And he said that they all share 95RON (and below)fuels between each other, so BP unleaded might be found at a Shell or Mobil bouser. And BP is considering dropping standard Unleaded in the future. BP make racing fuels (AvGas and Methanol) as well but they all contain lead and will kill your O2 sensor. He also said that he heard of a company in Sydney called VP Wholesale (?I think?) that makes (or is in the process of making) a street legal 100RON unleaded and selling it in drums.

ive had this problem before. 10metres before the driveway, i used to drive a bit on the wrong side of the road and go in on about a 30deg. angle. i had heaps of space either side of the driveway so i was sorta lucky and it was the layback kinda kerb. hope this helps
