Thanks for the backup Rezz and as for this: dont be so quick to judge. i was thinking what Rezz was, no point in 2 more cylinders if the thing can push out the horsepower its capable of, 1000+. And 2 more cylinders = more cost to modify. By the way mate, I used to own a gen3 commodore and it was the most gutless and unreliable heap of shit ive ever driven. holden couldnt even fix it after 20 visits. holden (chev) v8=shit. now the new ford quad cam v8 is the kind of tech. we should be seeing more of. Thankyou.

thank god they ditched the TT V8. i heard a rumor that the US and Australian (if the go ahead) delivered GT-R would have a NA V8 - how embarresing and rediculous.

qikr33 - what? its true turbo cars dont need cold air induction? bwhahaha. i think your being cheeky. i have a good cold air setup already, and doind some interesting tests with temp gauges for ambient, filter, intercooler and heatsoak.

i stood at teh count at sub zero for 15mins and heaps of their employees ignored me. i was told they dont want to know you unless you have a car with 500hp or 500million dollars to spend. i also spoke to them on the phone and was told turbo cars dont need cold air induction, but rather a sub zero intercooler. i laughed out loud in his ear and hung up on his stupid ass.

pull it apart and put i back together. this has fixed numerous small electrical dramas in my 33.

Sub Zero? I have nothing nice to say so I wont say anything at all. Gavin replaced my timing belt with a genuine GT-R item and N1 water pump for 5 hundy. I drive 150km to see Gav - its worth it.

is teh pennzoil gt-r permitted?

Australian civil engineering standards specify that nothing shall project 100mm past the level finished surface of a roadway and that the maximum change in gradient is 13%, which means 99% of cars set 100mm above road surface will clear this change in grade and any speed humps etc.... so i'd set teh car at 100mm high. ( i'm pretty sure it teh law in qld and all other states). hope this helps

it was recommended to me by a skyline tuner, so it must be a worthwhile installment.

In queensland I've been caught 2 times 60km over the limit and lost 6 points and $285 both times. and a friend of mine was caught doing 180 in a 110 (M1 between brisbane and gold coast) and got the same fine as me. we both had open licenses at the time of the fines. lucky in qld i guess.

cold air filters Z32 AFM's good exhaust front mount? (maybe) hi-flow turbos power fc and boost controller some nice suspension a good clutch fuel injectors, regulator & pump good performance tuner other misc bits n pieces like oil/air sep., cam gears, replace all belts, fluids, plugs, brake pads etc. with good stuff. 15 - 20grand for the above i rekon (realistically). should run 11's, i dont know, i dont own a gt-r or know anyone who has modded one.

and how many to go?

i think a dyno + tech. is worth roughly $100/hr.

Scotty - i rekon your AFM is dirty/dodgy. cav - i think you should try and readjust your TPS. I think its done with the motor running, move teh TPS around very slightly. I cant be sure about this tho'.

i have an N1 water pump and paid 155 for it i think. my mech. got it for me so i dunno where to get em from for that price. my 33 runs a smidge cooler with it i believe.
