  1. the only down side to a pfc, is it cant control knock. from the article, the eprom and reytec can. difference between these 2(from article) is you can keep programming the reytec without replacing the eprom all the time. anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong. thats just my understanding... as for myself, depending on the specs of reytec, injector drivers and such, i will be looking at haltec or motec. pricy, but very tunable. in the end, it all comes down to how far you will end up taking the car, how much protection you want(knock control), and how much youre willing to spend. hope this has helped.
  2. i work at a tyre retailer, word of mouth from some of the boys that i work with; r32 gts-t(standard)- kumho swift gti (standard)- kumho 180sx (235rwkw)- kumho and when i can afford new tyres.... ill be goin the same route.(32gtr standard*) *for now. all have said top grip in wet/dry/cold/hot. cant argue with that???

  6. u can go to a mechanic, or buy the gauge from auto one/repco/any tool sellers. i think u can buy a kit from the brand ABW for around the 50-100 mark. lets face it, it'll probably be used in the future. im a mechanic, and had to use mine when my timing belt tens. pulley gave way. if the engines got slightly low compression, squirt a little oil in the cylinder, if the pressure comes up, the rings will need replacing. if not, it'll cost more... to test, remove all spark plugs, screw in gauge, and let crank for aprox. 4 times. dont 4get to disconnect the coil packs. hope this helped.
  7. bit cold at 2am though...
