  2. So many similarities it's not funny What wheels do you run? He tows his r33 there, white gtst with gtr wing, car spits flames (like your dp), runs xxr wheels
  3. Hmmmmmmm there was another guy there with r33 gtst named Bryce?? I thought that was you! You dont tow your car there do you?
  4. Hey Brendan, Yeah all good - wasnt denied entry and that event requires CAMs license As what bryce has said, i believe the 2 types of track days are to separate the track cars (unregoed - quick lap times) vs street cars (regoed) Other than a slight high water temp which was expected in the hot weather, everything went fine, oil temp was lower than what i expected considering i didn't have an oil cooler Bryce was there was well and he was having water temp issues too Hope you have fun tomorrow as forecast doesnt seem as hot as what we had on Wed
  5. I believe that 34R will be at Racewars so will be interesting to see how it stacks up https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151809945866888
  6. That's a bummer, would be better if they actually state that on their website Have renewed "your car our track" membership as well, i'm just going to rock up tomorrow and see how I go EDIT: Have just rang the Barb office to confirm, tomorrow's "Your car our track" requires the L4 your car our track membership and Cams L2 license Maybe they got confused with cams come and try day?? Anyway, will be heading out tomorrow and see how i go
  7. That's too bad Bryce! Will see you and the rest of the crew the next track day, anyone else heading out on the 19th?
  8. Am i tripping out or wascc calender not showing race tuning day on 5th feb I'll be at the 19th feb event
  9. Hey guys, Whats the difference between Race Tuning day and Your car our track Day? Is race tuning day strictly for race cars only?
  10. It's not shuddering but I'll try to rebed in again this weekend - will let you guys know how i go
  11. So should i sand it down and reapply the bed in procedure or just drive it as it is? I dont daily it that much and the only time i will be using the brake hard will be at the track
  12. Hmm you do have a point about the rust, didnt have any problem with the brakes, no shudder and bite hard I was on the track the other day and i did feel the brake had like an unsmooth surface when you apply the brake (not sure how to describe that feeling) but it was ok the whole day, it was only towards the end of the day that it happened... and my rotors do have this look when it didnt have rust on it: So i assumed i had glazed the rotors
  13. Hey guys, I think i might have glazed my rotors (pictures attached - ignore the rust as I just finish washing it) so will try to clean that up this weekend The surface is not rough and brakes doesnt squeel (it did when i was bedding in) so not sure if i'm just over-thinking things Just wondering what's the best method to do it? Just googling around and ppl suggesting sanding it down using 1200grit then with 2500 grit, and sanding the pads to remove the mirror finish as well then rebed the pads? Thanks!
  14. Bride sells bride rails which are side mount?
  15. Nice meeting you Bryce Hopefully have the car sorted for Feb, overheating on the last track day, stupid SRs Looks like wascc has updated their website as well
  16. Stole this pic from Chris32R which shows the difference in rear caliper... the standing rear caliper at the back is the 322mm model [/
  17. From what I heard from mate that still goes to Ovaboost, Mick still owns it but he doesnt work on the car anymore, these days the apprentices do most of the day to day work, mick just oversees the operation
