  1. How do I change my file type? I wanna add a picture that I made
  2. Nope mine have nothing like that...its at the end where the cam gear is....and the part of the shaft in between the lobes (where your hks is printed) is concaved on one side all the way down....whereas yours looks solid
  3. So your thinkin they should all have Stamps???
  4. Hmmmm... Can anyone add to this??
  5. Oh really?? Ive seen some marked hks, and was just having a read of different forums of people with my same concern. As my stock camshafts are still in the car I have nothing to compare them with.... anyone know how im going to tell?
  6. Hey all, I bought some HKS 264 cams (2nd hand) for my rb25det and they arrived today. Now they came in their box's with original instructions etc. I have looked over both cams ten times and I cant find a HKS stamp ANYWHERE. This to me seems wierd for such a big branded camshaft to have nothing written on it. One camshaft has U2 stamped on it one has U3. Can anyone tell me if they had the same camshafts or how to tell if they are indeed aftermarked HKS cams?? Jamie
  7. Ok guys. Have got my pistons now, so Im still chasing everything else. Let me know if you can help me. PLEASE NOTE: NEED A BIGGER BORE HEADGASKET (88/88.5MM) AS I BOUGHT OVERSIZE PISTONS
  8. Ok after reading about 150,000 different things on what model does what. I have learned (slide told me ) that there was no d- jetro made for gtst anyway.......ahhhh. So this topic can be closed. Thanks!
  9. NOTE : Take no notice of the (non vct) I had talked about, I was under the impression it was only the series 2 engines that had vct (heard too many different things). The engine I have is a series 1 engine, with the ignitor on the coilpack cover and the green stickered airflow meter! Someone is bound to know more about pfc's than me. I just need to know if its the normal model that uses afm not the maps. And if it will suit my engine.
  10. Hey guys looking at buying a power fc for my series 1 r33 (non vct), and have searched the web all day trying to find info but no good. So far I have heard different things saying the same power fc can be used on r33 and r34 neo, others say only the base will work on series 1 and you need d jetro for the vct ones. Anyway, all I wanna know is this. If this model number is the standard base unit or the d jetro and will it fit my series one rb25det non vct engine. Any help would be great PFC ECR33 010-1916
  11. Thanks for the pistons mate. Easy transaction

  12. Hey sorry mate, might sound out of place. But whats wrong with the n1 oil pump??
  13. Thats pretty random. Straight to the sparky... Sounds like something to do with alarm as said above.
  14. First thing I would check, is your engine temp. If it doesnt sit at halfway into warm once youve driven your car for 5 minutes, replace your thermostat. That will most definately fix your fuel economy if your engine is staying cold. Cold engine tells the computer to give more fuel.
  15. Looks so much smoother man, well done. Might have to be something to do on the weekend....
  16. I dare say he won't be making carbon fibre rocker covers....
  17. Is that both sides of the core or just the plenum side? I wasnt planning on touching the other side, but that I suppose defeats the purpose of having it bigger one one side as well. haha what am I to do people?!
  18. I was considering that, but the cooler is terrible quality core....typical ebay crap. So if hks or Greddy already made a coolerkit with 3 inch on that side to suit. I was gonna look into that?
  19. Hey guys, To cut a long story short I'm building my motor in my 33 (rb25det) with forged internals, bit of head porting etc and amongst all the mods I have a genuine Greddy plenum on its way with a trust throttle body. Ok since I have not recieved it yet I am guessing the size of the throttle body is 90mm. Anyway my dilemma is I dont know how to go about the intercooler piping. As my intent was to upgrade my intercooler from my ebay front mount kit I wanted your opinions on which direction to follow. Remembering, bottom line is that my cooler I have now only has 2.5inch entry on either side. Obviosuly, for a minimal fix, the only cooler pipe that has to be tampered with is the one that joins the plenum , but I am seeking the best result so would like your opinions. Should I: - Use the Trust throttle body and use a silicon reducer down to my 2.5inch pipe size and keep the cooler setup the way it is? - Get a throttle body adapter and use my standard t/b, sell the trust one and keep the cooler setup the way it is? -Try and find a cooler kit with larger piping to suit the larger throttle body and forward facing plenum? My biggest concern is not getting efficeincy out of my bigger t/b if my piping and cooler intake on that side is only 2.5 inch. Sorry about the big writeup, just wanting a bit of advice on which way to go. Im also installing an afc neo, just to keep things running smoothly, does anyone think I will NEED a standalone ecu, or this should to the trick. Appreciate your time! Jamie
  20. Replied to the PM. Get back to me mate.. Cheers
  21. Hey guys after a set of forged pistons for my rb25det. Would prefer std bore size but really offer me whatever you might have. Also after a set of forged rods. Not fussy on brands, as long as they are in good condition and reasonably priced. Also after a new headgasket (some form of multi layered steel) Whether it be cometic or hks etc. Let me know Pm but prefer txt message to 0415 773 334
  22. Im keen on adjustable exhaust cam gear, if you still have it swing me a pm
  23. Hey mate can you put up a further back picture so I can see how flush these sit with your guards. Something like a bigger version of your avatar picture. I got a 33gtst and wanna see what they are gonna look like. Cheers mate.
