  1. Thanks Alan - long time no see... how's your car coming along/ Thanks buddy, I'll give them a call - was after something more closer to the Western Suburbs. Thanks.
  2. Happy birthday mate - looking forward to meeting you on a cruise when I get my license back... is your Skyline still in the workshop??
  3. R33's... either whale-looking or tough beasts... there's a good variety of both... nice.
  4. I think it's been settled then - Emanage is more tunable but more expensive - up to you.
  5. Seriously, just get a Nismo GT-R kit... dump the car on some nice 18" rims and it's a stealth bomber... tough and simple.
  6. I personally recommend, jetspeed.com.au - they can source you originals too - worth every buck.
  7. As the thread suggests (and I've done a search) - does anyone know of someone or someplace that does a good cut/polish/wax job at a good competitive price? Just got my car resprayed so looking to get it waxed up. Cheers.
  8. Yeah, that's it... use the excuse and hey... it's Christmas - you're allowed to spoil yourself. ha ha ha
  9. No worries mate - an alarm is somewhat an investment on security... don't go cheap on it as it could just save your car from getting stolen... but remember to do your homework as prices vary heaps. Good luck buddy...
  10. Welcome buddy and congratulations on your purchase. Post up some pics... I would suggest, get a cat-back exhaust system, pod-filter and then get some nice rims... that'll do you for a while. Good luck,.
  11. Are you nuts? Are you advising his to commit insurance fraud? You know what the penalty is - 4 years jail and a criminal record for 15 years - stop being silly.
  12. Yeah, I can confirm I've seen it in Melbourne. Not in Springvale though - more so in Noble Park... that back bar and side skirts... I swear I've seen it. If I were you, I would contact the Victorian Police and give them your VIN number... they'll put it on their register... so if they randomly pull people over with a similiar description, they can do a check... don't worry, in Springvale/Noble Park area - cops pull Skylines over all the time, You should be able to find it quick... good luck... It was driving pass Springvale road towards the lights leading to Noble Park station... the driver was an Asian guy in his late 20's - looked like a street-wise kinda dude... I remember, as he pulled up to me and wanted to drag me - the Mrs. and I joked about how he would have no chance so I remember quite clearly... hope your brother gets his car back mate... ring the cops asap!!
  13. When you call Abdul Rauf on 0430093068. Tell him his car stinks.
  14. Get the e-manage mate, my mate got his and he gained like 40 kw's after a tune - it shows how much reliability and tunability it has. For a stock turbo, I would am more for the 190 kw's range - don't boost it too high or you'll kill your turbo. Proper installation a few dynos and a good tune will set you back at around $450 at most places. Good luck.
  15. My mate has done this... it's a direct bolt on as the R34 side-mount is only a fraction larger... however, unnoticeable difference imo - although it is a cheap upgrade - I would spend the buck and get a front mount - performs better and looks better too. Installation will cost you around $70 if that and the intercooler themselves can be picked up from sources on here or wreckers for around $250 from memory - I was going to do this but decided to spend the cash for a front mount. Up to you mate - good luck.
  16. Wow, thanks for the heads up mate... but I love the Ssshhhtttt sound... damn it... really love that sound... but I know what you mean buddy.... I know perfectly what you're referring to... stock does make the car run much smoother - not to mention no more stalling which is a pain in the arse... thanks mate... If done right, would the GFB work just as well if no lag? Cheers,

  18. I love the pppssshhhhtttt sound. lol I hate it when the car stalls if full atmo, so I'll go 50/50 then... yeah, was also thinking of the GFB Stealth FX BOV... sounds nice and also heard some times it doesn't stall on R33's... what can you do though.. ha ha ha Thanks. I wonder why everyone's going back to stock - is there a reason for this?
  19. Yeah, give Ray from Primal Garage a call - he's working on my Skyline right now as we speak... top chap! mention Kevin with the black R33 and he'll look after ya.
  20. YOU GOT PM buddy - very interested.
  21. Hey fellas, As most of us know, R33's stall as hell when there's a atmospheric installed - it plays with the airflow meter, mixtures and ecu settings etc which caused really bad stalling issues... I've put back my stock BOV, but I miss the nice pod-suction sound heaps and also the Sshhhhttt sound - driving a turbo without this sound really is a bit of a let-down. I've heard though, if I get a BOV which has 2 sides - one that plumbs back and the other that vents out - I'll still satisfy the requirements of the car and will also get the nice blow-off sound. Which ones would do the above - any suggestions, fellas? Thanks in advance.
  22. Go RE Customs then go to Primal Garage for any panel work - both of these are tops!
  23. Jump on ebay mate... then call around a few of the shops (that I had mentioned) and ask for some quotes... labour is around $70.00 at most places... so just factor this into the price mate... also, most alarms now offer remote start... not sure if it tickles your fancy, but pretty cool to have. Good luck.
  24. Its because you're running less backpressure and hence giving you more power ... the more psi you boost it up to means more turbo lag... I wouldn't say you go faster - more so less lag... if that makes sense.
  25. Question - are you talking about remapping your stock ECU or an aftermarket FC? Never new stock ECU's can be remapped.
