  1. 'oath they are. They're kick ass little cars. The silver AE82 hatch in my pics outruns a R33 GTST.. and it's N/A with almost no mods!
  2. Mine are up.. kinda brand biased, but sue me http://dump.corolla92.com/bathurst07
  3. Great cruise! Thanks to everyone who came along. Share your pictures and videos if you got any
  4. After 3 pages of people telling you that your parents are idiots if they buy you either, good luck in getting an answer to the original question.
  5. Just got the word from Sam... It's.... ON!
  6. All a kid on their Ls needs is a beater. I rekon I made a great choice of a car to learn in. Granted, I did modify it, but it was still a lot more safer in my hands than a R34 or a S2000 would have been.
  7. I have to disagree with those who say that the parents buying a first car for their children is a bad move. My parents paid part of my first car, while I payed the rest. I still have it now, but am looking to sell it to move up to a Skyline now that I know how to drive. It's a 1989 Toyota Corolla SX, 100kW at the flywheel. Plenty, if not too much power for an L plater. See, the thing isn't that his parents want to buy him a car, it's that they want to buy him a car that is a weapon in the hands of anyone without the experience to control it. Mate, my advice is wait until you've got experience, done a defensive driving course, and saved some money yourself, before you go off buying such powerful cars. Not only will you save yourself money (insurance, repairs/work, fines), but you'll also save yours and other peoples lives.
  8. Hey all, I'm looking to move into an R34, so I'm letting my beloved SX go to a new home. This has been acclaimed as one of the cleanest AE92 Corollas around, so I believe that I'm asking a fair price. Specs: 1.6L 100kW 4A-GE engine 5 Speed Manual (lots of clutch left) 2" Catback exhaust system w/ 3" tip (installed by Castle Hill Exhaust) 15" AMG Blitz wheels (awesome looking wheels for the car. They're becoming a sought after wheel nowadays. Comes with locknuts to ensure you keep them) Low Pedders Ryda springs. (Not too soft, not too hard.) Central Locking Power Steering Sony Xplod speakers all around Pioneer MP3 Head Unit Rego until end of April 2008 Pictures at http://www.corolla92.com/rolla Asking $5,500 o.b.o. PM me here, e-mail me at ben [at] corolla92 [dot] com, or ring me on 0422560691 after business hours. Thanks
  9. Cuz now we're paying the interest that our loan generated.
  10. M2 is the most expensive road in Sydney by far
  11. Well, I bit the bullet an ordered one today. I knew I'd have to get one sooner or later. And in this case it was sooner rather than later, as the Harbour Bridge is going cashless on 8/7 and the tunnel on 7/7. I ended up getting the RTA tag on the infrequent 'plan'. Cheapest of them all from what I have seen - $40 deposit, $20 minimum top up, $20 minimum balance. Who here was an early adopter, and which one do you have?
  12. If there's still spots left in a week, I'll be in for this. Can't afford it right now.
  13. Is SAU going to upgrade to IPB 2.3? I just ran it on twincam's board and it's a nice piece of software
  14. As I've already told you about 3 or 4 times today, Happy Birthday mate. Bring on the drinking and partying tomorrow
  15. Bathurst Cruise is on then. Too many participants from here to call it on that day, there'd be now show n shine left. I vote postpone 'til first weekend of July.
  16. Aye, only because there's a Saab involved
  17. It's ugly, yet beautiful in some way or another, I'm sure.. Toyota Caldina
