  1. Not sure how it works down south, but here in NSW, you can put your plates into storage and have new plates re-issued, while still continuing the existing rego (IIRC). Best bet though, if you can't find anything on their website, is to give VicRoads a call.
  2. I'm there tomorrow night. Section 19, Row D - Platinum.
  3. Now on CarSales. Car is perfect candidate for a big single conversion. Open to swap for a R32 GTR + cash.
  4. I think I've seen this before - that place looks like this compound near my parent's place. You're over the road from the new Day Care, have a side gate around the corner? I've seen a Stagea come out that gate before. I'm very interested. Want to trade for a N/A Supra (ready to go for a big single conversion)? If not, I'll be in touch if this hasn't sold by the time my car sells. Quick question though, how many kms?
  5. The time has come to move on from my beautiful N/A JZA80. As much as I'd love to keep it and drop a 2JZ-GTE in, it's just not financially viable for me at this point in time, so I'm selling up to buy a R32 GTR. So, as you probably gathered from the title, it's a 1997 JZA80 SZ-R in the sought after Royal Sapphire Pearl. It's got the 6 Speed Getrag box, big brakes and the 17" wheels. There's a Mongoose M60 immobiliser/alarm keeping it in my driveway. This car has been nothing but fantastic from the get go for me. I purchased it from Top Secret Imports in Blacktown in August 2008. It currently has 115,000km on it, and was purchased with 86,000km. The majority of these kms are highway kms from travelling the M4/M7/M5 each day in my previous job. The major service was carried out at 95,000km with no expense spared. Currently the tyres all round are at 40%, so there's still a decent amount of life left in them. Up front, there's a Whiteline strut brace strengthening the chassis, and underneath I've installed a 2.5" Cat-back exhaust to a XForce Varex cannon muffler. The exhaust work was done by the experienced boys at Castle Hill Exhaust. The interior is almost flawless. The only thing showing signs of wear is the floor mats. Providing the audio inside the cabin is a Pioneer BT/iPod/MP3 head-unit (included is the iPod adaptor). The clock has kicked the bucket though, and currently sits at 2:30. This is a simple fix by replacing the clock. I've not bother with it, because the head unit still shows the time. The only other electrical fault seems to be that of the immobiliser. Forum member deejay has had the same issue where by the remote central locking will lock the doors, but will not unlock them. Again, I haven't chased this up as it hasn't really bothered me too much - I've just been using the key to unlock the door. When it comes to the body though, there are a few imperfections. There's a small dent and scrape on the drivers door where an Asian Yaris driver opened his door onto mine. It wouldn't be hard to pull the dent out, but the scrape will need some touch up paint (supplied with vehicle). The front guard has a small nick on it too (again, carpark hit). This one isn't as bad by any stretch of the imagination, and wouldn't be hard to touch up either. There's a very light key scratch along the O/S/R Qtr. There's a light scratch from what looks like a tree branch on the bonnet (a buff should get it out). Paint is peeling just below the boot brake light, too. I manage a panel shop, and can fix this all up for you for $1200 if it bothers you, but they're all pretty un-noticeable. NSW Rego until March. If not sold by then, will renew rego for 6 months. Plates will be supplied with car. I'm chasing $18,500. If someone offers me this much, I'll sell it on the spot, but I'm not in any hurry to sell. I feel I've priced it accordingly due to the imperfections. Feel free to low-ball me, but I suggest not if you're easily offended. You're likely to get a response containing various words like "cock", "shit", "balls" and "Miley Cyrus". It's really a beautiful car, and I'll be sad to see it go, but boost is just WAY too tempting! 6. There's a "Safety Camera Ahead" sign on Showground Road, approaching the one at the top of Victoria Av.
  7. This PDF was doing the rounds of the inboxes at work this week. First 50 "Safety Camera" locations. safety_camera_locations.pdf
  8. Looks like you guys had a great day. I stayed at a friends place up the road the night before and drove past the Showground on the way home. Only as I went past did I realise this was on. Would have stopped in, but I was too bloody hung over.
  9. I got my Supra from TSI, and have become good mates with Jack and Garry even after I took delivery of my car They're a couple of great blokes, would recommend them to anyone. Will be going to them to bring in whatever it is that I'm after next.. I'm thinking an M35 at this stage(a).
  10. Probably just a case of the cylinder needing to be emptied before shipping.
  11. Yeah, that was me. Thanks! I was sitting there telling my missus that there was something wrong with it, on top of running stupidly rich. She just thought it was a shitbox. Sigh.. Women.
  12. Spotted a maroon R32 GTR on Old Windsor Road heading towards Rouse Hill. Had an SAU sticker in the rear quarter window, and was bellowing black smoke out the back.
  13. I live on the Merrylands side of the GWH, just off Pitt Street. It's still Parramatta though. Avoid Merrylands, some areas of Wentworthville, North Parramatta and Guildford. You can't find anything you want? As I said, there's one above me for sale. 2 bedder w/ security garage for $350,000. It's advertised with The Professionals real estate.
  14. Are you kidding me? North Parramatta is worse than central Parramatta. That's where all the trouble is. All the Persians, Lebanese, Dole-Bludger Aussies, Aboriginals & Greeks live there. And not the nice ones either.
  15. Dogs won't win shit if they keep playing like that.
  16. I live in Parramatta. Been here about a month. Haven't had any encounters with police, but I drive a Supra. Attitude may be different between different imports - I don't know. Great place to live. Close to just about everything. I live in a unit which is pretty much what you described in your first post. Hell, the unit you're talking about is probably the one on the floor above me that's for sale atm for $350k. There was an inspection on it today. It's a modern building off Pitt Street. PM me if you do end up buying and it's the unit I'm talking about. But yeah, pubs are good. Crime seems to be low - too many humble asian and indian people around. Travel to city is good. Takes me 30mins in the morning from here to St. Peters. Public transport wise though, it's good I guess. Only taken the train to the city a couple of times on weekends. Anything else you'd like to know, just PM me. </unstructured 2:30am post>
  17. Well I've got an incorrect penalty amount on mine too. One section says $234. The latter section says $324.
  18. Wait, wait, wait. So I can fight the defect & neg driving (*cough*bullshit*cough*) infringements that I got issued last week, because the pig put down Purple Supra instead of Blue Supra?
  19. Spotted one in North Sydney yesterday. I had to do a double take.
  20. Honestly, good on him for failing you. A stop sign means just that. STOP. Not slow down and only stop if you really, absolutely have to.
  21. Ok guys, I'm sure you all realise this, but it is tomorrow. Make sure you bring your CBs if you don't know where you're going, and even if you do, bring them too so as to keep in touch with everyone else.
  22. BBQ Prices have been updated. Sausage sandwiches have been reduced from $3 to $2.50, and cans of drink remain $1. Craig will also be making 100 bite sized cakes, which will be 50c. Just under 3 weeks to go
