hey i am asking this question because i just got my R32 converted everything is now fine and the car drives well i was just wondering what else u have to change other than the usual pedals/tailshaft/box/master cyl is there any other tip/tweaks that can be performed?

**** raser 6 thou in 1.5 yrs ive done 17thou and ive had mine since june but yeah i was lucky with my car and ive now converted it to manual which cost me 1.8k with a recon box and 5 puck ceramic clutch it ended out cheaper than buying a new manual and looks exactly the same

i know a local mechanic who has a r32 gts4 gearbox for sale which has had a full bearing kit put thru it as he gets many R32 halfcuts for the motors and redoes the bearings on the gearboxes to sell them hes also doing my manual conversion which i pickup tomorrow

dude im not explaining about the sleeve to ballbearing read up theres pros and cons to both and i dont know im guessing its a later model because it has the same markings as a 33 turbo 45V4 on the comp housing and 45V on the turbine housing www.lexicon.net/scari/turbo for pics current offer is at $350 including postage

to find out what turbo it is the intake housing has a number on it if its 16v its a rb20 turbo its it 45v1 , 2 , 3 or 4 its a r33/vg30 turbo if its a number other than that i dont know and to find out if its ballbearing or not there will be a 10mm nut near the water/oil lines just a single nut

as the topic says its a sleeve bearing type (cheap for rebuilds) its basically a R33 turbo with a bigger exhaust scroll and is rotated already for a direct bolt on the turbo is in perfect condition with minor play got it checked by a turbo technician and he said its perfect its a perfect replacement for a R33 or a good upgrade for a R32 its got the T3 flange and has a ceramic wheel but is good for 1 to 1.2 bar on a rb20 because its a smaller engine (16psi) i have NOT used this turbo yet as i was acumulating parts for a big upgrade but the manual conversion is costing me 1.5k so im going to do that first and the money from this gets me a better clutch wanting $300 for it which i think is fair and the going price some info here about it http://www.meggala.com/mods3.htm that page has everything u need to know about the VG30 turbo and rb20 engines and was the main reason i got this turbo but hope ya dont mind me plugging ya site meggala a lot of people on this forum run these turbos so if ya got any question post some threads up about it bid away pplz!
