not sure with baw baw chain hire but when i went to mt bullar last year mate had 18's on his car. that actually asked for width size and tyre profile best suited. they even came out and showed us how to put it on and the chains were no where near the rims. you GTR rims will be fine. just make sure you get proper chains that has the plastic tubing around the out wheel area as that gets the chain sitting nicely.

thanks guys. ye im not sure what they were on when they said its the solenoids lol have already planned for a new clutch just wanted to confirm. dont want anythingt oo crazy as i dont do hard driving. will be going exedy HD clutch. thanks again

hey guys just need some clarification before i jump on the clutch upgrade bandwagon. so i have a R34 GTT 5sp manual of coarse and with the usual mods im pushing out 236rwkw daily on stock clutch. car has done close to 86000. over the last few months (3 maybe 4 months now) ill notice if i drive the car hard on 3rd at around 4500-5000rpm onwards the car free revs and at times does it on fourth. now i dont always drive my car hard. only if im on a cruise or feel the need for a little kick. it dosnt happen all the time but it mostly does it in 3rd. 1st, 2nd at times 4th and 5th are perfect its only always on 3rd and the occasional 4th it will free rev. but under normal driving conditions the car drives fine. does this mean my clutch is slipping and it needs to be replaced? basically iv been told it could be the solenoids thats causing the slip or free rev. iv never had to get a clutch changed on any car iv owned let alone one thats pushing out more power then stock. have been told the easiest way to check if clutch is on its way out is to put it in gear with foot on the break let of the clutch and accelerate (kinda like doing a burnout but not dumping the clutch) and see if it slips. is it best to check it that way? any help will be great. ta Ash

sorry guys didnt get a chance of cleaning the car and posting new pics up. will do during the weekend. also forgot to mention it also has Nismo 300kmph dash. atm im looking at getting new clutch put in within the next 3-4 weeks. like i said its an EOI but im looking at offers over $20000. only way ill consider less is if i return the car to stock. so please dont offer me anything below $20000 for the car as it is cause i will say no. like i said im in no rush to sell. i love this car very much and not that keen in selling unless i get a good offer for it and i find something i like. so ye ta Ash. -

if its a small dnet try one of them mobile paint less dent removals. they work a treat. havent had the need of one yet but my neighbour got a dent the size of a 10c piece removed near the corner of his door

well you will need to find a non xenon headlight or you will have to get a compliance company to remove the xenon and put a serial stamp on the headlight stating that it no longer has xenon. if that too much of a hassle id be happy to do a swap for my headlights for yours. i have a xenon headlight which the company that complianced my headlight removed and put a serial stamp on it making it a legal headlight. with your xenon headlight you will not pass roadworthy. as for if its worth it to fix your car or part it out. depends on whats actually damaged structure wise. are the radiator supports bent? the damage doesnt look too bad. panal wise looks like 2 new guards, bonnet and front bar. you need roadworthy headlights, frton reo supprt bar, rad support. maybe a new radaitor, new horn. get the airbag sensors re done. resetting the airbags maybe costly though. good luck with it all.

they do fetch for a fair bit. but it also depends on condition. my Nismo dash that i have on my R34 got an offer of $750. so im gonna keep it for a bit longer lol. lucky mine came with the car. -
nothing special about my GTT or id offer mine lol only ones i can think of are Matts RE customs R34, MattDs drift R34 and aarons sexy white R34 GTR

just an EOI at this stage as latey iv been thinking about getting a 4 door car. most likely a V8. price im after is 20K with rego and RWC. Basic details are: 1998 R34 GTT 2 door coupe manual white 180000 Modifications are: GCG high flow turbo (set to 15psi daily) no shaft play at all on turbo 480cc injectors HKS exhaust cam gears Walbro fuel pump 3" turbo back exhaust FMIC Z32 AFM Apexi PFC Racing Logic coilovers car has the basic mods already done as listed. car is tuned for a safe daily run putting out 236rwkw (tuned by Ray at RE customs). car is serviced every 5000kms by RE customs also so service history can be provided. car is running great with only one thing needed is the stock clutch to be replaced, which for the asking price will be replaced with brand new Exedy clutch. car is clean and straight. never been in an accident. looks nice and stock from the outside. cooler is painted black to avoid getting any extra unwanted attention. dont have any recent pics of the car (everything is the same except now its on black 17" AVS wheels) feel free to throw in any reasonable offer. can can also be sold stock. ALSO IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT WOULD INTERST ME FEEL FREE TO PM. WOULD BE VERY KEEN ON A MANUAL V8. but if you have smoething else as long as its not anything older then 04 drop me a pm ta Ash

welcome dude. what do you have on your mind budge wise? R33s are really cheap these days and are a good buy but are getting old as well so keep that in mind. now days 18-20k will get you a fairly good R34 GTT. its newer and looks way better ill sell you mine for 20k
