  3. I have driven this car. Great fun little car that stops, steers and goes
  4. Thanks for the luck Stuart It all comes down to "show me the money" with what we will end up with. There has been so much going on since Homebush, that it changes many times each day. Alot of AWD's are faster in 2WD.........and that may mean allowing the Motec or whatever switching to FWD or RWD at various points on a track, depending on the circuit of course. In Prod cars, alot of teams think FWD is faster in there AWD's.
  5. Thanks Chris. The team are rapt with 10th. I think I may have a spare for you
  6. hahahahaha who said I am not doing the series Drive the GTR's in rear wheel drive and see what they can do
  7. Cheers. I would not have thought that the last turn was the one to worry about
  8. Thought you might like to watch a little V8 Supercar video we made
  9. Hi Crew I know some of you are aware, but also some are not. I run the Track Days for Sports Car Rentals. We run these days at one of the best venues in the country, that only the privileged have driven on. The venue is a 5.1km piece of bitumen, with 25 corners, that has to be seen to be appreciated. Take note, that it is not a race track but a private road up the central coast. We have a unique special to come and drive our cars this week if you are interested. No, you are not allowed to drive your own car on our play ground....sorry Contact details are on the link. Cheers http://app3.simplycast.com/email_view.php?...;email_idno=837
  10. Having driven this car a couple of times on the lead up to Superlap/World Time Attack, I can say it is a weapon! I did 45's on the road/clubsprint tyre, and I still think this car was good enough to win the Clubsprint class at SL/WTAC. Best of luck Steve with whatever way you go
  11. These days at the creek are $300, which includes lunch and instructors if wanted
  12. There are a few days for the rest of the year. I will post them as they come up
  13. Hi Crew I have been running a few skidpan days of late and thought that I should put them on here as well. I know that this one is a while away, but they keep sellling out. And Myself We have 4 exercises in the morning which is targeted at being a little more defensive, and then another 4 exercises in the afternoon which are more advanced to get the cars sliding alot more. 14. Hi Crew Driving Solutions had a track day booked on the 4th August. A corporate client has booked 2 sessions out of a possible 3, so has made it hard for people to book this day....well actually, it is sold out!! To help, Driving Solutions have created another Track Day on the 2nd August

  17. Having a blast! Car's I am driving. S2000 is getting faster. Hopefully do sub 40's tomorrow. Lotus is having a couple of little issues. On the Dyno as we speak, and hopefully do sub 40's also. Honda Civic did a 42.0 which is great for a fwd na. Benny's Civic is Supercharged and did a 41.2 which is also awesome for a front driver. Pulse Evo is an 8 with over 400kw atw, good diffs, tyres, light and a top steerer
  18. No other yanks other than Sierra Sierra Evo. Penlingtons ZED is out as well, as there was just not enough time to fit the VQ30.
  19. What about wed and thurs Jess
  20. My predictions The Honda powered Pro Lotus' already do 32's on slicks and will run 34's-35's on R's, which I think will be good enough to win Waldo and Lofty are currently in the 36-37 range and are hoping there cars will do 35's in ideal conditions on new bags...but they have not been able to do it yet. I cannot see anyone going faster than a 34 though. PRO 34's OPEN 39's CLUB 44's I have already done 44's in a CLUB GTR, and I think it would be fast enough to win. On another note...RE WED and THURS PRACTICE DAYS. These days are not just for Superlap cars as some people believe, they are open to anyone. WED is fully booked and there are still spots for THURSDAY. You will have to pre book for these days even if you want to get in the gate. No spectators will be allowed on WED or THURSDAY. I am instructing on WED and THURS to help some of these OS people. If you would like to book a spot on THURS contact www.Drivingsolutions.com.au
  21. Sorry, I obviously misinterpreted what you were trying to say. From your lovely literature to your knowledge on the rules, it sounded as though you were a massive Honda fan Noel
  22. HAHAHAHA what a crack up!!! 1300kgs light? I know of some GTR's that are lighter. So you will obviously be out at Superlap wearing your Honda shirt then
  23. LMAO Love ya Jess I have not been driving at Eastern Creek for very long at all. I remember winning some IPRA National title in.....um....1994 haha Oh John, you poor guy in your underpowered GTR haha at least you have AWD. Sounds like you best read the rules hahaha You crack me up Benny. Would be fun though All good publicity for the S2000
  24. With all the chatter about the Pro Class it is worth mentioning that the action in the Open class will also be hotter than ever. This year will see the turbo S2000 that completely dominated Clubsprint class in 2008, now stepping up to open class with John Boston once again behind the wheel. With a full rebuild now behind it that included a new wide body kit and a set of lightweight Advan rims, a 2.2 litre engine full of Toda internals and Hypertune inlet making close to 550 rwhp this will certainly be one to watch when the flag drops on 21st and 22nd May. This is a pic from 2008. We tested it yesterday at the Creek for the very first time with the 2.2 stroker, wide body and roll cage. We were running a fairly low boost setting so we could work out what it is was doing. The to do list includes; the brakes were sh!t and need some adjustments, rear end needs alot more tuning, gearing for the diff and power delivery This car is the hardest car to drive fast atm so with some adjustments, hopefully it will help Going through T1 at the Creek in 6th gear with the foot on the gas and the car power oversteering might look good, but it is not fast
  25. Surprised to see that lack of cars testing atm. I think everybody is in a similar postion with there cars....probably still in a million bits. I was fortunate to put some miles on 2 of my cars (S2000 & CIVIC) yesterday at the creek. Although the lap times did not reflect it, we came away positive knowing that there is alot more time in both cars as we now have pages of changes to make. Mick Hiscoe (Open EVO) and Waldo (TILTON PRO) were the only other cars I saw yesterday
