Hello Crew I am running an ORAN PARK SOUTH track day on WEDNESDAY 13th MAY 2009. There is going to be only 3 GROUPS of 12 cars MAX. group is already booked by www.Driverdynamics.com.au, so I have the other 2 groups free. So as you can see, there is a total of 24 positions open to the public. The sessions will be 20 MINUTES Full driver training provided with 3 quality, qualified Instructors. I have decided to keep the cost as cheap as possible. It will cost you $200.00 for a full day. CAMS licences are not required. HELMETS are required and long sleeve and long pants are required. I want you to get value for money. 12 car each 20 minute session, with a 40 minute break and then back into another 20 minute session for only $200.00. Lunch is not provided. We will be having a lunch break during the day. I want the first car to be on track at 9.30am sharp. Briefing to be held at 8.45am. You need to sign on before you start. Thanks for the links Harry. We have been asked to run some car manufacturer days in QLD. We used Lakeside a couple of times last year and thought that the corporate suites were nothing flash. Do you know if the suites have been upgraded as well??

Had a great test at Oran yesterday in the little Honda S2000 I used last year. We were only using the south circuit,. so were unable to get GP times. At least we could finally put some R compounds on it Elias has been tweaking the engine to give it a few more HP. I have to say it is one of the hardest cars I have driven, to try and drive fast. Yesterday it was wheel spinning ( and I mean laying massive black lines ) on the run up to the dogleg in 4th gear. If we could only make it AWD We are trying to look for better R compounds now as it really is struggling to put the power down. Was able to pull 220kph on the short circuit

Hi Crew Luffy has committed to running this midweek day on the 11th FEB 09. At the moment we have 7 cars, and I would like to cap it at 20 so we only have 1 group with unlimited time on the track. Trainers on the day are myself and Ben Porter ( Current Aust Formula Champ last 2 years running ) If you want stacks of time on the south and more one on one tuition, then this is your day. Late notice I know, but those who are organised will benfit Ring Luffys office on ( 02 ) 9829-5399 and tell them Boz sent you to get the day for $250. I think he has advertised it for $265. Hopefully see you on the day

The other Lotus entered in PRO with driver TBC I think has an AUDI engine in it. Not sure if a 4cyl or 6cyl. Is this JDM

Throwing questions out in the open Should cars like the Lotus be allowed to run in this type of event? If so, should we only allow cars with original engines..........mods are free. Or, all cars must have engines in the front. Don't kill me, but I am thinking this event could be taken over by sportscars after hearing what sort of sportscars are being built. The likes of BEL/WALDO, BERRY/NEWMAN, LOFTUS, MARKOV will not stand a chance against cars half the weight. I have been offered to run a Lotus in Open, but I do not think it is the spirit of the rules. But it does have the original engine.

Hey Duncan I have used the MRT to mainly move my girl three times over the last 12 months lol and she now uses it to store her stuff in hahaha I bought it when I was planning on making a comeback to IPRA a number of years ago. It has an annexe as well, very flash!!! The only motorsport car that I actually own now is my Grunter Datto 1600 rallycar. I hardly have time to use the Datto, let alone the trailer. It is complete overkill for me now, as I pretty have been driving other peoples cars for the last 11 years. So I still want to have a trailer, as I have always had one for the last god knows how many years............just a 4 wheel open one will do me. I will probably advertise it on MY105 and just buy a new open one if knowbody is interested. I will put it on a few forums first though It will fit a GTR

First in best dressed This day has training guys. You would not get a full day for the same amount with this level of tuition. And the drift day would not come with tuition. $150 bucks is dirt cheap and obviously the people that have booked thought so as well
