  2. worked from 10am till 12.30pm at a hotel then from 12.45pm to 2pm and my usual job 2X pay for the win. filled up my tank of petrol in like 3 hours
  3. last night i did a bit of a wog trick and took of my air box that feeds air into the filter via the air scoop under the bonnet. by doing this the air filter is now exposed to the engine bay, and taped down to make sure it doesnt fall off. i noticed a not significant, but noticable change in performance as well as what i like to call a "sick" sound when i hit the throttle. is this bad for the car in any way, i dont see how it can be. and if i get something like a K&R filter, will i notice even more of a performance change?:
  4. i am in for a cruise with people from the area would be good to be able to put faces to the skylines i see driving around all the time.

  8. take off the dash, check all the wires are connected properly, test for a current running through them. this way you can narrow it down from no power going to the wires, or a problem between the connection of the wires and the lighter holder itself.
  9. 99% sure it would be a fuse. check ur fuse box undnerneath ur steering wheel. check alll the fuses, not just the relevent ones sounds stupid but somethign similar happened to my friend, he had a professional check the relevent fuses and found no problems. i had a look. randomly pulled out the "engine" fuse (this is in a 93 corolla) and sure enough the fuse was broken and a easy fix
  10. for gods sake fix loose belts i had a loose alternator/clutch fan belt did nothing about it for a week was driving along saw out of the corner of my eye car temp was on full H pulled over and had to get the racv to tow it back to my house, the belt had slipped off, in turn wrapping itself around my power steering so i coudlnt steer properly. was extremly lucky to not have a bad accident
  11. i use shell v power or caltex vortex, depending on what i have a voucher for, if i dont have a voucher then ussually bp ultimate as i spend most my time at kew BP washing my car
  12. as victorians will know i had a pretty bad accident with the airbags going off when they put them back in i had a red light on the dash telling me to check them this was because the sensor in the center console of the car was damaged and that tells the car that the airbags have been re fitted. (according to the repairer) the passanger airbag in a S2 breaks the windscreen as it pushes the flap of the dash in a upward direction creating a impact with the lower half of the windscreen airbags stink alot, and fill the cabin up with smoke.

  16. naa they are 2 600watt subs that just came as is connected to a 900w monoblock i have a lot of "ule" friends that say the combination of those subs and a very small boot make the skyline one of the basiest cars they have been in and now that the speakers and headunit have just been installed i finnaly have some treble back the whole system in my opinion sounds amazing, i highly reccomend those subs for anyone who never has to cary a box or can of coke in there boot

  20. I decided to get full comprehencive insurance the other day with Just Car As my car has been in an accident recently i needed to take it into the assesment centre so they could check that it had been fully repaired if anyone is squirmish about cars never go there i saw beautiful s15's and skyline r33's all written off something that caught my eye was a rear engined car (i think it was a mr2) with a custom boot install, but the boot was in the front of the car obviously and the install had been destroyed in the accident made me realise how much more i should be looking after my car to avoid it ever having to go to that place again
