reason being is the two purposes of oil are to lubricate and CLEAN, so the oil that is the blackest if obviously picking up all the carbon n crap and sending it to the filter Oil that turns black the quickest is the worst oil money can buy. Cheap oil has less and cheaper detergents that deteriorate the oil quicker. Put cheap oil in your car and it will be black within 2 weeks, buy decent oil and the detergents which protect the oil from blackening(deteriorating) are far superior and will keep your oil cleaner for longer. The statement oils aint oils wasnt a salesman line. You get what u pay for. Oil purpose is also to cool

i would drive it till u plan for more power. Then rebuild it, your going to be replacing most of the parts you blow if it goes, ie pistons and ring etc,, dpeneds how much cash u want to throw at it
