  1. NismoGirl, I will talk to a few of the sun coast people with skylines and see what there up to that night. But count me in. Where do you want to meet up? and @ what time? Damqik
  2. I have a dual boost controller on my r33 s1 and run 13.5psi Hi and 9 psi low the standard turb on a s1 is good for only 14 psi and thes td turbo on a s2 is good for 12 psi due to its plastic inlet wheel. my only problem is on a hot day I hit the fuel cut defender on my hi boost setting. Damqik
  3. depends on the type of bleed lets say it bleeds the atmosphere you would close it to decrease the boost. But if it blocks the line to the waste gate you would open it to decrease boost. Damqik
  4. Yes R33 Do have fuel lights about 50 K's to dead empty (light driving) PS I have never had a problem cornering hard with a tank on E to me the best time to do it as the car is a bit lighter. my 2 cents
  5. How do those oil type filters go if ya don't oil them but do clean them regulary?
  6. I think you would find that the guard is stuck down with some sort of mastic glue, the reason that it seems hard to remove, care should be taken not to bend the guard. Try cutting through the mastic with a knife.
  7. Hey Guys/Girls I have found this simple circuit that makes a fuel cut Defender Try this at own risk! I'm yet to build one myself but will be doing so shortly Regards Damqik (Damqik i have remived the link here because if anyone uses this curcuit they will dammage their engine i have already tried this curcuit and it leans the engine out big time) (MARCIN)
  8. Red Sky II, No Worries Run Out is likened to buckled The rim can be out up and down or side to side Regards Damqik
  9. I have found that the water streeking is caused by not enough polish on the car before washing (the polish seems to prevent water from streeking on the car) try washing the car drying it polishing out the streeks and then apply another coat of polish again, so the next time you wash the car the water will just roll off the car. and will only require a quick streek free dry with a chamos from there after. keep the polsih up to the car from then on. i.e every second wash. Regards DAMQIK
  10. I would love to know how to make one, A circuit diag or something would be great Regards DAMQIK
  11. Better off with the stock air box & put in a sports filter (like the K&N) and open it up underneath of the box to cold air using some ducting, unless you are going to seal of the new air pod from the heat which then is no better than an air box anyway. you dont want your car sucking hot air at any cost. Regards Damqik
  12. The car ran really well for about five minutes time to replace the thing:(
  13. How did you clean the O2 sensor? and what with?
  14. Hi Red sky Thanks for the update I am pleased all went well, its not quite true that the only way to fix run out is by replacing the wheels, it is possible to have the rims re rolled this is much cheaper than replacing the wheels (about $30 a Rim depending where you go) (bob jane dont do this normaly as they would rather sell wheels and would have to send the rims away elsewhere ) sometimes they might need to heat the rim which would then require a repaint (more $) but if you dont have a problem now I wouldn't bother. its good to here that who ever fitted the wheels did it pro job using centre bore location rings. not often would you get that without asking for it. Regards Damqik
  15. Sorry Pictures poor quility CD Front CD Rear Front sway Rear Sway

  17. Sounds as though your having the same problem as me its either the O2 sensor or AFM or both. put the car in diag mode and check for an error code. Regards Damqik
  18. Install a set of wheel centre bore location rings basicly centres the wheel to the hub as wheel nuts cant do this alone. Bob Jane sells them. some mag wheels require stick on wheel weights so balanceing shouldnt be a problem. Regards Damqik
  19. Where dose one obtain NEW parts for R33 skylines such as AFM & O2 Sensors? Is these a way of testing AFM & O2 Sensors with a multimeter? Regards Damqik
  20. Guys a major service dosnt just meen under the bonnet e.g: diff oil gearbox oil & filter (if auto) handbreak adjustment break fluid flush mechine disks and new pads (if ness) air filter air line hoses radiator and heater hoses full wheel bearing and bush lube cv joints re packed uni joints greesed door hinges and locks lubed as well as the jobs mentioned in other posts above prob more that I cant think of atm a full diag of the engine management sys (reg proper diag equipment that not many mechnics have! (even tho most say they do),(they plug the car into a computer at the fuse box under the dash and can tell anything about the car and how its running).easy way to get ripped off by mechnics that dont do what they say or dont have the equipment to do the job properly) a major service should include a go over the whole car! Regards Damqik
  21. I have the same problem as you with my r33 gtst, if and when you find the fault let us know what it is. more things to check 1. the pin that alignes the crank angle sensor in the exhaust cam its in the camshaft and is half a circle shape looking into the cam and outer to it there is a star shape slot also remove the cas you will see what I meen (this pin has been known to snap / bend causing eratic timing). 2. the vl o2 sensor is the wrong one for a r33 will not work with the factory ecu. 3. the resistor in the boot near the jack side Mounted neer the power antanna motor. 4. vtec solidnoid near the no1 injector (could explain that tinny rattle) 5. behind the ecu is two relays check for resistance across the contacts in both normally open and normally closed modes (powered and not) as there are two sets of contacts in one of them. I have checked most of the things that you have checked including replacing the crank sensor ignitor and ecu withother known working ones. the above list is what Iam checking in my car this weekend are things that I am yet to check in my car as I now need to do some through checking as the prob started off small but now the car is undriveable I have tryed ecu resets and diag mode gives me code 55 (all is good) though my vtec isnt working! the car is running so rich that im getting about 150 k to a tank. good luck with yours Regards Damqik
  22. Possession is nine tenths of the law, And I have possession of them, anyway there already on the tarago so, Bob and Tim you might as well stop bickering over them. :shake:
  23. Those burnout are under my house so I'll be using them on my car first thanks bigfella (lets call it storeing fee) besides tim won't notice some rubber missing off them, that is if I can get the tarago to spin them. The auto box in it has been a bit lazy recently. So there may be plenty of rubber for the both of us.
