Hesitating And Splurting Problem R33 Help Please4
Sloane replied to jack-95-rb25's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
yeh i had exact same problem. it was due to the coil packs needing replacment. i recommend splitfires too. -
Thanks for answering all my questions guys cheers PS. so basically a safer alternative but illegal way is to remove cat converter to get flame popping effect, which shouldnt damage the motor or turbo? is that right?
-
so in saying that having no cat coverter is safer with the same effect am i right??? i just heard a few GTR's on a cruise i went on with that sound and the whole flame thing happening really looks appealing to me and sounded awesome imo

Hi seen this item brought up in the "tailgating thread" and thought id look on youtube to see what it was. http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/index.html didnt realise that device can cause the same effect as having no cat on teh exhaust. Few questions also 1) is this harmful to the car in anyway?? 2) can u turn the Bee*R rev limter on and off or is it constantly running like that untill u remove it? 3) how much do one of these cost? 4) does this give "any" performance gain watsoever or is it just for the show off factor? thanks for you input.

Hi thanks for replys i ended up taking my car to gavin wood and he did a brillant job on my car. now runs alot better then before. he also uses very good products for the car such as oil, parts etc. i did notice that some parts needed for my car were quite pricey so make sure ,if you go there to have the right money aside and possibly a bit extra. regards. well i am trying to find out if TTR is a reputable brand for starters as im finding it hard to find a website on the brand. so do u not classify that as researching? if i could install my self i wouldnt be explaining the prices of someone else to do it. forums are a palce to seek advice not criticism that isnt constructive.
-
ok well ive booked it in to get all done on tuesday but before i send it in to the place. is there any other shop that specialise in modifying skylines that anyone can recommend? im based on the gold coast so dont really want to head up to brisbane. if anyone can please tell me of a place before monday that would be great as i would liek to give notice to the guy.
-
hey sorry for the late response but ive found out that the brand is called TRR and the guy said they manufacture HKS and APexi items too. here is a lil link i found on them with the logo if anyone can recognise it http://www.autopassion.co.nz/site/exhaust-systems.html its the one with the italian flag behind it and it mentions about TRR

R33 Skyline White Face 300 Km/h Speedometer Cluster Kits - $110 Delivered
Sloane replied to Sloane's topic in Group Buys
i recall reading somewhere in the thread that u can get black. but Pm Amec anyway to confirm. -
Hey minimum order of 10 kits so need 10 buyers read this thread for information and pics http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...;hl=white+dials a brief outline on price & other info $110 Delievered $170 to do the installation. $30 for either blue or red LEDs (you can get them from ebay as well) workshop is at 55 Cavendish Road, Coorparoo, QLD , Australia http://maps.google.com/ (if u need to know distance or idea of location) PM User Amec for questions or EOI http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/m27224.html Who designed and made it? - the kits designed and created by a local manufacturing company in Brisbane Do they come pre cut out? or do you have to cut them yourself? - the faces are pre cut and made of 1mm thick polymer / plastic. Is it possible to install them without taking the needles ofF? coz I'm sure you're aware that once you take the needles off, you f**k it up. - the needles have to come off. however if you do take the shafts out, it does not mean the needle is rendered useless. it is sensitive to the height the needle shaft is installed into the circuit motor. If there is needle movement that is slow ie lags behind actual speed then catches up, this usually means the shaft has been insterted too far down into the circuit board. Gently raise the height of the shaft until the needle moves more freely. The circuit is very sensitive to the height of the shaft and the shaft needs to be at the correct height before it will operate correctly. If the needle does not move at all, then the shaft has not been inserted far enough into the circuit board. PS im not the seller im just an interested buyer who needs EOI on this item

380 dump pipe 400 Hyper Muffler 300 hi flo cat 160 cai s/s piping 200 labour that was what he exactly quoted me unsure what CFM the cat is but it was a rounded one not the usual looking ones looked like the one on this photo http://www.nativoperformance.com/Productos...e10301SwebA.jpg dump pipe is not twin as he said u lose space as its been halfed and such so much better to go with a single pipe with my current exhaust pipe (JAZMA) he mentioned its fairly restrictive and that the Hyper Muffler is a good performance muffler. thanks for your quick replys just making sure im getting a good deal. so far everyone thinks im paying a fair amount.?

Hi I have a 96 Skyline Series 2 GTS-T now atm its got 3" standard cat back exhaust system with a jazma muffler now im from the gold coast and if any of you know geoff from Sebring Mufflers (Mermaid Waters) ive seen him for an upgrade to turbo back + dump pipe anyway he told me about a muffler that he can sell me which is called Hyper Muffler? and i think the brand is TRR ?? cant remember but when i search hyper muffler it comes up with TANABE? he said its a really good performer and has the drift look angle as they are designed to be fitted like that? anyway if ive made any sense with the brand labeling can someone knowledgeble tell me if they are a good exhaust to go with? price quote was 300-400 dollars for the cannon alone. and 300 for hi flow ttr cat thanks
