  1. Sounds like a bit of a pain but i guess once i had it at the right height i'd just leave it. Thanks for the explanation Geoff.
  2. I was looking at some reasonably priced coilovers but they are circlip height adjustable, how does it work? Can someone show me how it works using pics of these Tein and Ohlins coilovers?
  3. Maybe someone could have a look at the tags on their GTST/GTR belts and see if its got a part number. Please
  4. I've got a quick question about working with CF. I've got some carbon doors and guards, but the top 3-4" are painted in grey. I want to get them sanded back to all CF but i'm not sure whether i trust a normal fibreglass workshop. Would the doors need to be re-gel coated or maybe just another clear coat on top? It hasn't been gel coated over the painted section (you can run your fingernail up the CF part and sort of get your nail under the painted section).
  5. For some reason i can't edit my post, but i actually need 2 plugs.
  6. As above, anyone got an old headlight loom that they can cut the headlight plug off for me? cheers Neil
  7. Bump, still looking.
  8. As above, i'm chasing both front and both rear seatbelts for my R32 GTR (middle rear not necessary). Must be from a complied car (no Jap belts), in good condition with ADR tags. Prefer Klippan belts. I know i can get them new, just seeing if anyone has any near new ones they're willing to part with. PM me or email neilesplin@hotmail.com cheers Neil
  9. Ok, thanks predator, i was about to PM you.
  10. That'd be great thanks. Even though ADRs are national, it seems states interpret them differently. I've never known anyone getting away with not having to replace the belts in Qld (and i had to on my last 15yo import). I found Klippan's search engine, but no BNR32 listing and no rear HCR32 listing. http://www.autolivaftermarket.com/pr-replacement2.asp
  11. In Qld you do, unless someone has some good evidence of why you don't have to that i can prove to my engineer.
  12. I have searched and didn't want to drag up Predator's old thread 2 years on, so i was just wondering if anyone could confirm the correct part number for front and rear belts on an R32 GTR. In Predator's thread the suggested numbers (for an R32 GTST) were: FRONT K4555 REAR K2255 When I had Repco call Klippan last week they suggested: FRONT (L)K6491 ®K6492 REAR no listings MOUNTING KIT K4425 Can anyone else confirm which belts they've used for compliance and whether the mounting kit is required?
  13. I'll take one, please PM me details.
  14. I'll be getting my 32 gtr resprayed soon too. Anyone got any pics of a yellow 32 gtr? I can't picture it looking too good in my head. My 3 main pics at the moment are bayside blue, dark green, or the new Mazda 6 phantom blue (green pearl).
  15. Apart from taking any small mods off the car in Japan and getting them posted to you i don't think there is much you can do. I've had 2 cars come over from Japan, both with expensive parts inside/in the boot and nothing was touched. I think the occurance of stolen parts is overplayed a bit because you only hear of the small number of cars that have parts stolen, not the hundreds of cars with nothing taken.
  16. Any pics of these and other details like ride quality, handling, etc? Damper adjustable?
  17. 1. At a street meet it doesn't matter if you launch immediately after the light turns green or wait a few seconds then go, your ET will be the same (reaction time doesn't matter), so stage up, compose yourself, then go when you're ready. 2. Don't worry too much about the burnout unless you're using soft semislicks. 3. Try lowering your tyre pressure even more, with 255/40/17 i'd be trying to get more sidewall flex by going as low as 20psi, but its a matter of trial and error. 4. What mods exactly do you have? I would have expected 95-97mph from a car making under 150rwkw.
  18. I just bought a car cover from Supercheap, the small/medium size for about $30, and it fits my R32 GTR absolutely perfectly. Slips over the front lip and and rear bar and hugs the car nicely, no chance of blowing off.
  19. What sort of shop is likely to have the tool for the fuel filler neck? There's no compliance shops up my way.
  20. Me too please! neilesplin@hotmail.com
  21. Righto, thanks anyway!
  22. I'd be very grateful for any of the same info as well. I'm currently doing self compliance on my GTR and the seatbelts and intrusion bars are easy enough (buying doors that already have bars) but positioning of the restraints and techniques to fit the fuel filler neck would be great.
  23. Which hubs do you have? I'll take the rear if you've got them. Location?
