  1. no wing ftw, i just de-winged my 34 a few weeks ago, love the look, very sleek
  2. Congrats.... so am i, and your experience in design means nothing when it comes to the quality of a gaming system and its graphics... im not basing it solely on those games, but it is more experience that you have in the industry... people obviously else they wouldnt still be made....
  3. tells me ur biased to the 360... i worked in QA for Krome studios long enough to make an unbiased opinion, if this thread is suddenly about a lil 360 fanboy like you then you should leave before the shit fight breaks out. I'm not saying the 360 is shit, but i dont like it, in the end its up to the user to decide what they like better, i for one am over all microsofts shit, and the constant red rings just go to show they were to keen to release the system before fixing all its problems..
  4. being the first console out does not necessarily mean that you sell more, you sell sooner yes, but not necessarily more, they released it knowing it had a huge problem... first big mistake right there. PS3 is the pick of the bunch for me, it does have heat issues, but keep it in an open area instead of tucked in a corner of some cabinet and allow air to flow and it should be fine. As said, everyone seems to end up with red rings with the 360, it may be a 1 week turn around, but its an inconvenience none the less, look at how many ppl have had to do it. the PS3's release was only pushed back so they could solve their problems, else it woulda been out before the 360. also, i think PS3's sales must be doing quite well to still be priced at $676 for the 80gb model
  5. lol, its extremely easy dude, to get off the little black clip/screw type thingies you just twist them, use a screw driver if you want or just do it by hand. The clips are sort of a 2 part thing, you twist the section with the hole for a screw driver and it will slowly pop outwards, dont apply too much pressure as you do it or youll just push it back in, being gentle is the trick. Once it has popped out a small way you can simply pull it out of the hole, its pretty straight forward once you get to playing with them. As for getting at the tail light bulbs, once the trim is off, there are about 4-5 bolts on the inside of the boot that hold the tail light housing in place, loosen all of them and then start removing them one by one making sure you keep a little pressure with your leg or have someone hold the tail light housing incase it falls off (because the bolts are undone) once all of the bolts are out just pull out the tail light housing, it should just slide right out. Now youll need to balance it on your leg or have a similar height chair handy to rest it on as you will have some short wires connected to the tail light. Replacing the globe is a simple matter of twisting out the cap in the centre of which ever light is blown and swapping out the bulb. Follow the steps in reverse to get it all back together and presto, a replaced tail light its a 10-15min job at most, but once you get it all out youll realise how easy it actually was
  6. Hey dude, the two aircon buttons for re-circulating and, and air from outside the car light up green depending on which one you have in effect, the A/C button also lights up green when its switched on, and the two buttons on the far right, the front and rear de-foggers light up orange when in effect hope that helps Steve

  9. That might explain the late release of some of those over the past month or 2, HPI has been a little late and autosalon was extremely late, although not in your list of mags. i hope they both still run cos i buy those 2 religeously (should just get a damn subscription)

  18. breather pipe can be tough to get off, it can take a lot of force and wriggling to get it loose, keep track of all of the screws, there will be a few, i spose there isn't really a lot to it, there is a tutorial around here, im going to do mine either 2mro or during the week will post pics if you like when i get around to doing them
