  1. not keen on it either i must say, that is not seam welding it is spot welding on the strut tower and i am not keen on people putting sr motors into cefiros, but each to their own
  2. Item: r200 diff r32 skyline 5 bolt drive shafts Age: Condition: good, kicks 2 every time Price: 200 To Fit: (What car) skyline, Location: gold coast Contact: brad Comments: o4o4978589
  3. yes, got one with a purple sticker on it, out of my cefiro rb20 de, i live on the gold coast. phone o4o4978589.
  4. hi there, think i pm ed you, but will leave my details here as well. after your coil cover, live on the gold coast, phone o4o4978589. thank you.
  5. are you negoitable? did i spell that right? my motor is complete, but tired, just trying to price up some options. thank you.
  6. hello, how are you?, i am interested in the rb26 as mine is in need of a freshen up and just pricing up my differrent options. would you consider selling it without the turbos? if so how much? and where are you living at the moment, and do you have reciets of the work carried out on the motor? thank you.
  7. when i did this i bolted the cefiro front brake line straight into the is 14 front brake, i had to get the angle grinder out and cut the bolt about 10mm which bolted the brake line into the caliper so it completely seals against the s14 brake, soounds a bit rough , but this is probably why you can not get your brake lines to seal, apart from that, just make sure you have enoough brake fluid in the resivour. good luck. and bleed the brake furtherest away from the brake booster first including the rears. i think the 32 rb26 i just installed in my cefiro is tired, is there any going cheap over there?
  8. when i installed the 26 into my cefiro it did not come with a oil catch can and the breather pipe on the tapper cover went no where, when i gave it a good rev it would through oil out of the open breather onto the turbos. not really liking the look of a oil catch can i got the original piping and connected it back into the inlet of the rear turbo, but now when you give it a thrash it pops the dip stick out and sprays oil every where. i am only running 10psi. why why why? i am not a mechanic but my thoughts are maybe the rings or valves have seen better days and air is leaking past and building pressure in the sump. any ideas will be greatly appreciated, thank you
  9. that daisu knows his cefiros i must say. i went s14 front control arms and hub carriers and removed the whole rear cefiro sub frame and installed a r32 one when going 5 stud, easy job. as for the engine question i would definitely go rb25, work out way cheaper once you way up rebuilding the rd20 depending how much work you can do yourself.
  10. yes that plug goes nowhere near the main fuse box, but when you add the skyline wires to your head light loom, it adds a extra plug which goes from where you have pointed to on your picture, to the other side of the engine bay and connects to the dropping resister for the injectors and the pcm valve that controls boost, which is beside the fuse box. well that is the way i did it. very hard to explain but you will get there. i used the standerd rb26 computer, if you dont use the standard computer you may not have to do this. good luck my friend, good feeling when it finally fires. hate to say it but toyota wiring looms are soo much easier to install.
  11. ah yes yes yes the good ol wiring game. not 100% sure what you are talking about but i think i know. when i installed a rb26 into my rb20de auto cefiro i kept the head light loom from the cefiro and added the other wires which the 26 needed to it. that big plug on the cefiro carries the the injection and ingnition a aircon signal and a start signal feed if my memory serves me. the other big plug which is on the skyline loom feeds the dropping resister for the injectors, which needs a feed from the fuse box on the way through, and a pcm valve which is positioned by the main fuse box side. i dont know if that has helped, you if you are on the gold coast i can have a look if you like.
  12. front bar looks very good, how much are we looking for a front bar? are you on the gold coast? need a hand to build them?
  13. the only problem is you get too lower spring rate because they are set up for a lighter sylvia instead of a rb cefiro, but much better than standard springs and shocks.
  14. got the rb26 dyno tuned today, started with 234 rwhp and finished with 267 rwhp on 10 psi. very happy with that, have not really got up it yet as there was too much traffic around. off to the quarter mile next. any one with simalar specs know what i should expect?
  15. oh adman! i am just giving you a bit of jip, there is no hate there, relax my friend. i really dont care how you drive your cefiro that is up to you, every one is different, that is what makes this world interesting, just because i think one way does not make it right, you really shouldnt care what i think. eg, i think that show so you think you can dance is the worst show in the world, but it gets the best ratings, i must admit it is a little hard to get information from some people, but we did tell you how to remove your speed limiter, you just needed a pin out diagram. it took me about 20 hours of searching on the net, 10 hours of driving aroud mechanics and a bottle of rum to get my wiring diagram for my rb26 and i am not ready to give it out that quick. take it easy adman.
  16. thoust shall not be a cock, like adman, whilst driving thy cefiro.
  17. how much room do they have between the front bar and the intercooler? will it cover a gtr intercooler?
  18. hay adman did you sort out your issue with the speed limiter? do your mates call you adman or do you just call yourself adman? saw your dyno print out on that other post adman, what was your rwh, adman? that thing you do when you put up a post where the words adman are over the top of a cefiro is cool, adman. is that your cefiro, adman? who do you think is going to win 'so you think you can dance' adman? adman?
  19. good thinking, feet stinking. i didnt think of the cooler idea.
  20. dont know if anyone really cares, but here is some information on how to adapt a hicas power steering pump to work on a system that has only turns the front wheels, if that makes sence. when i am modifying things on my car i like all the info i can get. when putting the 26 in the cefiro i used the old rb20de non hicas power steering pump which didnt line up with the main pully, so every time i gave it a burst it would throw the belt, first i packed the pullly off the power steering sharft with some washers, still threw belts, next i swapped the pump with the hicas power steering pump and blocked the rear wheel fluid line with a bolt, didnt throw belts but when it was reving hard it would leak power steering fluid everywhere, and was hard to find where the fluid was coming from. i took the bolt out which blocked the rear fluild line and wrapped it with thread seal tape, better but still leaked. next i pulled the rear of the pump apart and pulled the fins off the sharft which spun in the housing, finally works a treat, no leaks and power steering works perfect. ah yes. next, change the fuel pump and get it dyno tuned, then it is off to willow bank.
  21. too much aussie rlues, not enough cefiro. i told you that was going to happen.
  22. thanks for all of the comments. i brought the down pipe off a mate who went single turbo on his gtr and got a second hand 3 inch exhaust off boost cruising, but thank you for the tip. i am not mechanic but managed to do everything myself, i did pay for a guy to do the exhaust because the two systems did not line up. it cost me $4600 for the front cut, maybe $200 for fluids eg oil and anti freeze, about $500 to sort out the exhaust but that was for a whole system excluding dump pipes ( there is not too much room between the two turbos and i think the factory ones were ok. ) and that is about it. there really is no difference between doing a conversion with a rb20 or a rb26. i still need to get some sort of pod filter set up, none of the importers have any down on the gold coast, and i will get it dyno tuned as well. but that is it really for expenses. very happy with the way it goes and it is only running 8 pound, will probably not go for too much more to try and save the gear box.
  23. i have one, but i live on the gold coast. if you get real desparate call o4o4978589
  24. thank you for that. i might invest a white line rear sway bar and save for some good coil overs, do you recomend changing the front one while i am there? are white line sway bars ok? thank you once again.
