  1. What causes the water to go into the combustion chamber?? And why doesnt the whitish/greyish smoke comes out during idling. If theres water shouldnt there be constant smoke coming out ?? DOenst the water recirculated when it is idling? The oil level was check regularly, it seems fine.... and the oil pressure on the dash all seems normal. Just came back from a drive, got my missus to drive it while i follow her around. The smoke smells more like something is burning.... Smells like weed .... Nah just joking. IT smells like something is burning. Doesnt smell like running too rich (petrol smell)
  2. Not that i am not trying to fix it but tuner/mechanic says it is just condensation.... nothing more.... they are not really worried about it. So this is putting me in a dilemma, not knowing what i should do.
  3. Just added: Dyno 3 times. Didnt misfire on dyno and car made 350rwhp on first tune then timing drop it was making 320rwhp. JUst to add some info. THe car was tune by a reputable tuner. I have brought my car to several different place and have been told off many times. Everyone has a different story and some doesnt want to touch the car as most said "Trust in your tuner furthermore he is the best around!".   4. I had already brought the car back 4 times since i got the car back. Tuner still reckons its the coilpack that needs changing. Final! during the tuning process the enigne didnt even misfire at all! On the dyno it didnt misfire hence the tuner didnt even know it was happening. Its when i brought the car back and took it for a drive, it started to misfire and pinging (engine light keeps popping up on 3rd gear). So back to the tuner again and timing was drop and everything seems fine but its still misfiring on 16 psi.
  5. Whitish smoke normally due to Condensation in the exhaust but how can this be happening after an hour of driving in a 28 degrees day? Shouldnt all the "water" in the exhaust be gone by now ? WHitish smoke can also be cause by engine oil or coolant if i am not mistaken. The tuner and mechanic isnt worried about it because the still reckon its condensation in the exhaust. They have taken the car for a drive and there was another car folowing from behind, all they say was ITS MORE GREY THAN WHITE . I am putting all my trust in them as they are one of the most reputable tuner/shop in Perth . The whitish/greyish smoke only blows out when i hit 16psi on most gears!
  6. I am running PowerFC. Timing was drop, tuner says nothing wrong with the CAS. When the car is on Low Boost (10 psi) it doesnt misfires but on 16psi it just goes POP POP POP around 5k rpm.... Will check on fuel pump pressure and fuel filter(is this the one on on the fuel pump? If so it should be new.) Car is running a gt30, fuel pump, 650cc injectors, z32 afm and all the usual upgrades. Tune looks very good. 12.1 afr which really cant be justified because every engine might have a different characteristics.
  7. Nope... check new fuel pump + bp 98 only. The car actually doesnt misfires that much when i had a service. Before the service it does misfires alot. Service was just a regular service(oil + oil filter). This doesnt happen all the time. Sometimes it can work like a dream and sometimes its being a bitch!
  8. Hi guys and girls! I have a Metal Cat installed more than 24 months ago. Recently i have been having whitish/grey smoke coming out of my exhaust. Mechanic says it might be some engine oil going into my engine after a session at AHG skidpad(i do not have a oil catch can before was told the reservior on the rocker cover should be sufficient enough). There shouldnt be a problem with the turbo seals as it is a Brand new unit from HKS. The car has been backfiring once in a while. Whitish/grey smoke was also thought to be condensation but i dont think so cause the car has been driven for more than an hour on the road. This only happen when i hit full boost! On idle it doenst happen. SO please do help me. I am having tons of problems with the car, all i have done is put good parts and proper mantainance into the car. SO my question is: Are this the symptoms of a failing CAT?? Does it cause greyish/ whitish smoke to come out of your exhaust?
  9. Hi guys and gals! I am currently having some misfiring problems. Yes i have change it to SPlitfires which are only 14 months old. Mechanic reckons thats the problem. Maybe a faulty one. Low boost doesnt misfires but when i am on high boost it misfires. So i have been told it might also be the AFM but it has been changed to a new one. Spark plugs are new. We are eliminating the CAS, as the tuner says the power graph doenst show irregularities.(or something like that, power doesnt goes up and down) What could also cause this problem?? If any of you guys ever had this problem pls let me know!! Any help would much be appreciated!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!

  13. i thought r34 gt-t was 1410kg, how would r33 be heavier?
  14. I think the R33 are 1360kg. From factory is was quoted 0-400 = 14.4. No offence but how would a completely stock R33 would run 13.4?
  15. I was told that the Neo engine is higher compression hence more knocking when more parts are modified? = rb25det > rb25det Neo izit true.
  16. I am having some problems with my tune. send it back twice and the engine light is still popping out on low boost 0.85 bar(10 psi?) Havent been driving on high boost. This is the dyno graph and i reckon its a bit a rich side. Black residue all over my bumper and garage door. And also i did have lots of misfiring problems with even with new plugs and splitfires.
  17. Erm the turbo has already been on the car for 3 months now. Fully tuned and been driving it with no problems. Just realise theres a huge cloud of smoke from the exhaust when i hit full boost.
  18. Hi guys, I am having some white-ish(theres a mix of white and black smoke) smoke coming out from my exhaust when i hit full boost. Read a few threads but all seems to point to the turbo seal. The turbo on my car is a brand new HKS turbo hence i dont think it will be the turbo seal. No smoke of any kind when it is idling. Just on boost, you can see a cloud of smoke. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks inadvance!!
  19. The problem is its a STOCK CAR! If it was lowered or modified in anyway i would understand. Told him thats the build of the car, its lower than most car even with stock springs and suspension.
