  1. Its definitely cheaper from eastern states. BUT if the car is modded, you still have to get it back to stock before you can get it thru the pits. If you calculate the labour to take the aftermarket part out then put in stock parts(purchasing stock parts?) and fit it back aftermarket parts in, you still come back to the same lump sum as getting a car locally. One of my mate decided to do this, huge problem was getting the parts out. Did all the right way (He did himself to save money). When taking out parts, he broke the nuts. Then he couldnt drive the car. Got it towed to a workshop and pay alot more to get it done. End of the day, its still up to you, if you got the time and patience go ahead! Good luck.
  2. Just to add Splitfire colipack only have 12 months warranty.
  3. mine failed after 14 months. If u call up the seller/distributer they will most probally say its defective manufacturing. Been told theres 1 in 100 theres a defective batch. Also from what i have been told its not a very popular brand in Japan (dont quote me: This is what i have been told cause they do suck in Japan hence why they are pushing it overseas + the cheap price). Causing me so much headache when everyone pushes the blame around. hope that helps.
  4. +1 GTt also when u are talking about GTT, does this mean stock front bumper or it fits all aftermarket body kits?
  5. got a set of splitfires. sad to say i was the unlucky few.... dead in 14 months.... Was told there might be some defective ones ( one in hundred). So yeah....
  6. hmmm thought this was new... was recently on perthnow. heard of them planning to do it but havent seen one.

Got a list of all the things mention and very hardworking on doing my research. Still looking for a suitable car to be used for this journey. Any reccomendations? No V8/Turbo/Performance car. 15. good good keep it coming. The other thread is to see if anyone around Australia who is kind enough to accomodate me for maybe a day or two when I drop by his/her hood. Hehehe. Anyone knows what type of car to be driven around Australia, I am not driving the skyline around, might not even end up outside of Perth as I am too in love with it to see bugs and more stone chips on the bumper. Any rules, pointers, things to avoid, urban legends etc etc?
  16. Hi people, I am currently planning to drive drom Perth to Darwin to Brisbane to Melbourne to Sydney to Adelaide and the back to Perth and ofcourse all the major landmarks in Australia. Would like to know what is needed and any tips etc will be greatly appreciated. Websites, forums, etc would also be great. Someone with the experience, please feel free to help me out! Now lets start by brainstorming on the above questions!!! thanks inadvance.
  17. Now works on 3G. Just need to change some settings. Located Perth. Pick up price and delivered same price!
  18. bump! 4 more left!! quick quick grab em!
  19. the sentivity of the screen is actually not too bad comparing to the Apple IPhone. As i said before this phone is alot smaller than the actual IPhone and IF you have fat fingers dont buy this phone. One of the main reason I am selling this is because the phone wouldnt read my 3 sim card. Tried with other providers and it worked great!
  20. Hi peeps, Was looking at getting a Iphone so I Googled and ebayed around and found a "IPhone styled phone". Which works exactly the same but you cannot download any new applications. Please dont jump to conclusion and start flaming me on purchasing a copied item. The main purpose of the phone was for calling and SMSing. So if you are looking for a phone which can call, sms, take some pictures etc etc do try one of this Iphone Minis. Looks and work great. Not suitable for big fingers as the phone is only a bit bigger than a bankcard/credit card. 1gb internal memory and 1gb mircoSD card inside the phone. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. I bought 5 of these just for fun and now I dont need the extra. I am not making any money from this. Purchase for $290 each excluding postage. All new but i have opened it up to check if anything is missing or defective. This the same item i am selling. All specs are the same as the Link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/KA08-i9-mini-3G-Sty...A1%7C240%3A1318 Looking at seperating it for $250 delivered Aus wide. Comes in a few colours. Works only for VODAFONE OPTUS AND TELSTRA. I am not sure why is doenst work for 3 and Virgin as it states an unlocked phone or i have not change the settings. So i just lost $200+ from 5 of these. All the hyped of getting an IPhone made me purchase this but i am not regretting it. PM me if you are interested. PLEASE dont start leaving me lame/irrelevant post about selling a fake item. Stated above - THIS IS NOT A REAL APPLE IHPONE.
  21. Guys leave him alone. THread bumping if an offence! Dont post if you are not interested. PM him! hehehe, trying to act tough! Good luck on your sale!
  22. Good cruise till the same problem every cruise!!!!!! Do not lead the way if you do not know the way or just dont know how to read the map! No map and following a lead car that TURNS round and round not knowing what he is doing SUCKS! Wasted 60 minutes plus, following a car that says he knows the road to the truck stop. Was a very fun night till I broke off from the big group. btw, the r32 in the ditch, i was two cars behind you and sorry for nothing stoping to help. Looks very very bad but hope everything OK with you and your car.
  23. The tuner says of there is something wrong with the CAS, during the tuning it would already pick it up. It should cause the timing to go all over the place during the tuning process. But since it did not happen he eliminates the problem CAS first.
  24. ngk 6 (not sure what is the actual code) havent try regapping as the mechanic says no need to regap when you have splitfires. Will try to see if ignitor and also "professional sparky?" means auto electrician?
