i had clearence issues with fitting my rb30 block but not on the plenum, coz i got a vented bonnet the cam gear cover left corner hits the bonnet so thats getting trimmed down to fit, but in terms of hitting the plenum i was fine, although the piping coming across the radiator area had to be made to go down a little bit... when i 1st saw the motor in i thought theres no chance in hell ill get close to closing my bonnet it will hit everything ( i now have a custom plenum though so its no longer an issue anyway)...i didnt want to change any mounts either ben...

ardie: i just got an autronic ignition system put on it, and needed series 1 coils that didnt have the inbuilt ignitor otherwise they would fry... anexiole: pm sent Pawley: ill have a lok for ya... RBFIRE: ill give ya a pm later on regarding price cheers...ben.

to mount to the body of the car? or to mount to the afm, either way im sure i have it in the garage, will look for ya ben...

hi guys ive taken the following parts off my r33 gts-t * Top 1/2 of stock plenum and Throttle body- $90ono ( will seperate if both buyers are there) * Assorted black and stainless steel piping, used with the hybrid cooler (pics on request to make things easier) $POA * Oil Catch Can- no breather on top, return outlet to sump- $10 * Stock fuel pressure regulator- $20 * Stock washer bottle with motor -$10 * HKS pod filter ( filter needs replacing)- $10 * 3" dump pipe ( rusty) $10 * 3.5" dump pipe ( bit rusty but mainly good)- $20 * Support bar with bonnet latch (infront of radiator) $15 * Various hoses- $POA * GFB Hybrid bov bottom attachment- $10 * Not sure what it is, but i heard it was a pollution thing, pic attached, GREEN- $POA * Custom steel intake pipe with 4" attachment down to 3" to fit afm, or u can just cut the 4" piece off- $50 BOTH OFF TRUST TURBOS so they have a different flange, but u can just chop it and change the flange to bolt to stocker if u like * center muffler from a 3.5" system- $15 * boot floor carpet and battery cover carpet- $10 each. or $15 for both pick up due to size and shape * Splitfire coils series 2 rb25det SOLD!!!! it was fine without the tubing still but for like 8 bucks from bunnings for flexible tubing and using 4 cable ties it was worthwhile to do, with the air getting rushed straight into the filter... ben...

the uas one reduced temps alot when i combined it with tubing from the front bar to the hole where the stock cooler pipe went... i dont think the snorkel will work with the UAS one since its fully enclosed on the top and side

i had a hks one which just fit, but now i have a k&n coz i didnt like how the foam of the hks was being sucked into my turbo ( no afm) ben...

ross80: yeh thanks mate i understand that theres alot of wanks out there that make the majority of young guys look like spoilt little pricks, ive seen it many times before... on another note, i will never degrade or rubbish ppl who have worked for their car or something in their life, my parents did it when they 1st came to this country so dont get me wrong i think its great when ppl work towards stuff im currently doing it now with my business and future investments, its just i know of alot of mega rich parents that do jack all for their kids, and i think thats a bit selfish of them... ben...

my parents bought me my 1st car which is an r33 gts-t for my 18th birthday its now been heavily modified and its still the only car i got and i learnt on that car now im on my p's with this car... all the ppl who say that if its free its taken for granted, have no f*kn idea on the actual individual, coz i thank my parents every day for my car, i treat it like gold, and look after it so much, when ppl ask how did u get it i say my parents got it for me...no lying just the truth... the amount of arguments i had with my dad about helping me more with the car, i told him to go for a holiday spend the money on himself, but he said he would have rather give it to me to help me and see me enjoy my life... he's been workin basically every day since he was 10 and would never let me work so hard that i would be missing important factors like family as the main priority, social, and sport i now have my own business to 1) prove to all the ppl that have doubted me that i can't survive without my parents so who ever thinks that can get f**ked!!!!! and 2) to one day be able to support my parents totally... being a parent is a big thing and its unfair to put ur kids thru slavery, its all about helping them enjoy their life.... 15 y/o workin day in day out for 50 bucks to me is just plain selfish and that makes u a TIGHT ARSE to put ur kids thru that is just wrong... ben...

ive never understood the H1 H4 etc etc to do with lighting, but i got a series 1 r33 gts-t would these be suitable and also for low, hi beam etc cheers...ben.

i need a set of stock series 1 coils with the external ignitors, will pay extra for express post to wollongong need them by tomorrow ben...

i bought it from my tuner so im not sure if its the same as the just jap ones but its got a shell sticker on the side, meh it does the job which is good enough for me hehe ben...

hehe thanks mate, that intake pipe is now a bit bigger due to the fact i aint runnin an afm no more... i thought that was the best place for a catch can personally, it makes it look alot neater instead of mounting the can up the front of the engine bay and get the hoses goin here there and everywhere ben.

my parents bought me my r33 which i still have today, they have helped me with some mods to the car... i didnt even know i was getting it, just opened up the garage door on my 18th and saw a stock r33 gts-t sittin there... the look on my face absolutley made their day and i have thanked them everyday for it...unlike some other ppl i know who take all that for granted and forget how they got it... i would love to buy my kids their 1st cars when i get to that stage, i would never want my 15/16/17y/o etc workin their ass off (althouth they would be working with me) just to pay off their car that would take 20 years, sure its great if they help etc but i'd want my kids driving something pretty decent so at 17y/o theres not much that most could afford on their own each to their own i guess but i have no worries with the kids that respect their parents, the ones that take it for granted are the ones that annoy me ben...

mine isnt exactly discreet but i got a hks type 1 that sits atop my steering column, it has alot of time features like 1/4 mile, shift light, 0-100 etc so if i go somewhere and have a look i guess i need to see it ben...

so which exhaust size would be best suited to my rb25/30 to say hit 450rwkw, but as reponsive as practically possible ( i know it aint comin on very early) would the 1.00 make it to that power level? ben...

i was running 20 psi, on 16psi on the racepace dyno it made 305rwkw ben...
