  1. they are 90 degree speedflow fittings, i tried so many types and these we're the smallest set from revoluion racegear ill add a pic just to help explain originally we thought it was the timing case, so we leveled that out a bit, then taking it off and found that not the problem, so i can only guess that its the oil fittings, theres a r33 on hot 4s magazine with basically same set up, that retains the timing case, has ideltical bonnet to mine ( vented one) but has the standard fittings so im hoping this is all it could be ben...
  2. i have a pair of speedflow fittings on my cam covers with braided lines to my catch can, problem is with the bonnet i can't close it properly coz the fittings are too high, does anyone have the stockers (ugly and black, but ill polish them) ben...
  3. what leech said- ur best spending ur money on a good turbo back incl. hi flow cat system and panel filter such as K&N, put the boost up to 9psi then is suggest a fmic since u can pick up a kit for bugger all these days unless u wanna have more stockish looking then go smic, but the good ones start to get a bit expensive, bleed valve to 11psi and shold be sweet ben...

  5. yep steam pipe, thats why i wrote in my post "not thin stainless" sorry if i didnt make it clear meaning that i didnt have one in stainless... as u can see in the pic, perfect quality ben...
  6. i have one of Kyles high mount manifolds on my 25/30, awesome quality and its thick not thin stainless and flows so brilliantly as does Ariels (ISLEEP) plenums hehe free plug mate ;-) ben...

Munkyb0y: LOL...i took the badges off my r33 gts-t to get the " wow i cant even tell what car that is" lol not really i just dnt like badges much like wen ppl put gtr on a gts-t ( bodykit fair enough but not the badge) M3 on a stock 318 BMW Vtec on civic cxi etc i might get a laborghini badge for my car then so ppl think its a lamborghini ( sad thing is i can think of a few ppl that would believe it) ben...

  11. from what i have heard the oil pressure gauges on r33's can be a bit faulty due to the senders or something, so would changing to an aftermarket electric gauge be ok, or mechanical? ben...
  12. i had the same bov and at 1st the spring was too tight making it flutter a little bit coz air would be goin back thru the intake, losened the spring a bit and it was fine, also to not i had the stock bov andit fluttered an was plumbed back into the intake only at low revs though, so i dont think that makes a difference... As far as I am concerned it is your wastegate??? LOL ok, learn how a wastegate works then think about ur answer... ben...
  13. definatley upgrade to a fmic, the common 600x300x76 will be fine with 2.5" piping, and yes also change to a pod filte ( k&n, apexi are my choices) but make sure u shield them from engine bay temps, there are a few DIY on them on these forums, also as an advantage of changing to a fmic, it wont be HUGE notice but worthwhile- u will have 1 hole under the pod spare since the piping no longer comes up, good idea to run some flexible tubing from there down to ur front bar, get a bit more cold air in... ben...

  16. i used a 3" exhaust with 2 mufflers and a gtr cat to get my noise down to pass the db limit...other than that i used a 4" all the way through which i luv, obviously not somethin ur after though hehe ben...
  17. i had the hks pod on my car which was loud and sounded mad, only problem was i didnt like the thin foam it had as it was being sucked in over time onto th afm ( when i had that still) so that worried me a bit and alot of guys i know have had the same...i changed it for a K&N and thats no "as" loud but louder than i thought for a K&N, plus i dont worry about the pod elements breaking off and going into the turbo ben...
  18. its got hi performance oil ( forgot the brand) which my tuner runs in all his performance cars ( in saing that it was fine when i got it back from him) just lately its been playin up ( only done like 20kms since) when i go to start it i have to rev it otherwise yeh it will stall, and oil pressure is fine when i shut it down just the 1st 5 mins its not reading it, then goes to normal range
  19. i got an r33 rb25/30 that has had a fair amount of work to it, new plenum, high mount, etc etc it takes a couple goes to start, and it sounds like when it tries to its gonna stall, and when it does sorta start theres a huge pop, ( but not misfire, like an actual pop) and my oil pressure gauge reads 0 from the start (but i heard the senders are faulty on rb motors and to fit a new gauge) then after about 5 mins warming up everything is normal if anyone can give me an idea before i take it down to my mechanics then that would be great, more info on the motor is available if someone can help, just cant be stuffed typin it all out now 1st cheers...ben.
  20. get the dump and a high flow cat and u will notice a good improvement on the dyno definatley ben...
  21. from what i have read, they are alot rarer than the units for 33's and 34's and u need to get the AP Engineering version ( according to HPI Magazine) ben...
  22. its probably been machined too thin, just get a reasonable split dump pipe ben...

  25. i got an rb25/30 full rebuilt motor etc currently pushing 496rwhp on 21psi, just wondering for something different about twin turboing it, and wondering which turbos to use to achieve similar results without being too laggy, i havent really looked into it just playin with an idea that all... any info or help appreciated ben...
