  1. id prefer to get the whole exhaust done, as well as the afm since i can get them for bugger all.. when will the fuel pump and injectors begin to max out? i was leaning to do cams too as they would help make it more responsiveness, but if they arent necessary then they can wait with the other stuff.... like i mentioned id like the suporting mods to be capable enough of a bit more higher than my actual goal... that sounds like a good plan, gt-ss, power fc, exhaust, cam gears

  3. no worries thanks for all the help looks like ill just go rb20 afm, with the normal power fc, and the gt-ss turbos, with the avcr my mate has one he's selling, plus i had one in my 33 which i thought looked cool, i wouldnt pay the $600+ RRP for them though. 600cc injectors should be sufficient shouldnt they? id wanna make this car very responsive with some fair enough top end, but my current r33 gts-t has 515rwhp and i dont wanna go to that kind of power level with this one, so thats why i stated 300awkw max, id rather have the supporting mods capable of slightly more so they are not under so much stress..but probs around 280awkw ill be happy with... i also dont want to go into the whole deal of rebuilding the motor... what is the bottom end strength, before u have to start thinking rebuild? cheers...ben.
  4. im planning on getting a 1999 34gtr vspec i am planning to do the following mods to it HKS 2530/ or Garrett gt2860R turbos (is there much difference between the 2 apart from price?) Nismo 600cc injectors Tomei 260 cams (in & ex) Tomei Cam gears Bosch 044 pump 3.5" turbo back exhaust Apexi power intake Apexi power Fc D Jetro Apexi Avcr Z32 afm, or are rb20 ones fine is there any other mods i would need to do to support the power im after? no more than 300awkw! im new to gtr's especially 34's so i dont really know what some of the stock items are capable of cheers...ben.
  5. that exact car isnt in australia, but the autostyle boys sent the motor over to Mines to get built to exact specs, so i guess in a way its exactly the same ben...

  7. just wondering how much difference there is from an 1998 r33 gtr series 3, to a Vspec model also are they "that" much different to a 1995 model? ben...

  12. as topic says if after the nut that sits on the top of the suspension towers, i have 3 but i lost the other and they dont make those nuts can only get original ones... anyone has one let me know cheers...ben.

  15. agreed with above, if anythin it will throw ur ecu out from what i saw when a mate tested the theory ben...
  16. i wouldnt recommend doing any of those really... yes acceleration would speed up but it would be throwing ur afm readings out of wack.... every now and again ill take the pod off my car as i can run no afm but that usually doesnt stay long at all....id prefer to keep my motor clean ben...
  17. yep i got the 255/50/16's on r32 gtr rims fit perfect ben...
  18. i have 6boost manifold and that is a 100% top quality designed manifold... there was a test done somewhere i read on a fairly modded sr20 it made a shitload more power on the same boost level, over the previous one they had on ben...
  19. the stocker is great for decent power, but the less piping the better/neater, plus the pipe does not have to cross over a hot engine with a front facing plenum... on a relatively stock motor a bigger plenum can hinder performance, but on say 350rwkw+ i believe it can help alot ben...

  23. most parts off r33 gts-t series 2 * series 2 throttle body with tps - $50 ( whoever pm'd me bout it sorry i lost ur email address) * assorted black piping- $poa, was used as cooler piping, dont have full kit * coil cover- $40 * 3" cat back exhaust, with gtr cat, oval muffler not too loud - $200 (coming off shortly, fitting bigger exhaust) pick up only basically sold * floor carpet, in not too bad condition- $30 pick up only * 4" to 3" steel intake pipe with HKS pod, needs new element- $40 (was used on a high mount)- basically sold * rear speaker metal brackets- $10 might be some more parts, ill check tonight pics also up tonight cheers...ben.
  24. id agree with the comment that it would be the lack of cat...mine does the same although runnin alot more power but the lack of cats can aid in producing flames ben...
