yer i was reading in the new motor magazine with defects etc, aftermarket ecu's are engineerable as long as they pass all emissions test, if u put a cai box around ur pod which u should anyway since it would be sucking in hot air then the intercooler mod would not need engineering (but still put it on there) i need to go get mine engineered in a week or 2 as long as an emissions test also. u can get ur car engineered with a nice exhaust not too loud then come home and wack some big mofo on there ben...

i had a heat shield on my turbo and i didnt really like it, heat was still pretty high, surrounding plastics were extremely hot, and also my air con pipes were pretty damn hot i got a xtr turbo bag and so far so good, under bonnet temps are reasonable, my air con pipes are fine and so are my plastics around that side of the engine bay. ben...

i got a turbo bag on mine and i rekon it shits on a heat shield there was a test in hpi magazine not long ago also stating this, and u can also get a dump pipe bag which they said had great results, the bag traps alot more heat in and i personally cant see it doing any damage, ive had mine along with alot of mates have theres for 1000's of kms and nothin wrong at all plus with the heat shield my air con and surrounding plastics were melting ben...

didnt get pinched or anything, its just that its a company car and im getting it all engineered, and according to the rta i also need to keep an emissions test along with the engineer certificate in the car with me all the time, so yeh my mate has a pretty quiet exhaust which up to now im gonna borrow to pass the tests etc ben...

yer my redline is 7800 and thats fine everything is sweet at that point ben...

i have the rb30 with 25 head, i cant see any disadvantages at all honestly ben...

its all good, i'm borrowing a mates exhaust and the tune before the test we'll make it as low as possible to pass everything, then once its done on with the new exhaust and screamer hehehe ben...

agreed with LNEMUP498HP hehe the sound of a screamer is awesome on a bigger turbo ben...

depends what u like....to me my exhaust is awesome but to others its rediculous i have an rb25/30 makin just under 400rwkw with a 3.5" system all the way through with no cat and no center muffler only a rear straight thru muffler and also a screamer pipe each to their own i guess ben...

i didnt think they were legal but reading the new motor magazine states that they are, definatley gonna find out for sure since i have them and wanna know 100%... mine a so secure feels so safe, i guess if they rattle then they would be defected for but secure ones i cant see whats wrong

hey adrian yeh true, they didnt build the engine but there were problems with it which they have now fixed they had to take it back out and just put it back in, suspension wise they fitted my tein coilovers with the edfc, swaybars, bushes, pineapples, strut bars ben...

i wont say dont buy one coz in the end its up to u, the effort i went to get a black r33 was rediculous and after about a year i resprayed it ( 1 because i wanted to and 2 it was a pain in the ass to clean) and when it came up sweet soon after it was dirty ben...

can only strongly recommend southern motor works albion park rail contact jason and rob on 42566429 they been the only ones workin on my car since i bought it 3 years ago, perfectionism doesnt explain enough ben...

i had a td07s low mounted on a trust manifold, could only fit it withthe rb30 bottom end that worked well, i just changed for a hi mount and front facing plenum ben...

must be lucky with mine, i have a hi flow cat which is gutted and no resonator or anythin, only have a straight thru rear muffler, cars well tuned and i dont get much smoke if any ahtough i get flames at hi rpm back offs and shifting up, pretty nice, felt a bit more free once the cat was gutted cant remember exactly thought the full gain, roughly 10rwhp i think maybe bit more, it went from 472rwhp to 485rwhp. and from under neath just looks like a normal cat ben...

im also stuck with cam issues, my rb25/30 made 352rwkw@16psi with a modified td07s turb0 its in the shop atm hopin for 400rwkw@20psi, the head has gtr valve springs and gtr cams. the car will be mainly street with the occasional drag and very odd drift.. just wanna know which cams would best suit it and increase the potential of my current setup ben...
