  1. I am currenty chasing a pair of driveshafts for my R34, I was just wondering if shafts from any other skyline/silvia are compatible. They are 6bolt (3x2) shafts if it makes any difference. Cheers Shane
  2. push the switch that is infront of your ash tray and then put your car in tiptronic mode... job done
  3. If its anything like the 4door, you have to remove the rear seats/ parcel shelf
  4. Im not too sure about that one. Although if your car is revving out but not gaining any speed, your clutch is slipping...
  5. It brings up a code for the airflow meter. Ive never actually had coilpack problems as mine were replaced before i bought the car
  6. I have had a similar problem with my car. It is either one of 2 things. If the car drives along fine and then jerks along suddenly and refuses to rev over 2000~rpm, your air flow meter (AFM) is playing up. Its probably best to find someone with the same AFM and test it in your car If the car has a misfire depending on load/rpm, it is your coilpacks breaking down, replace them with splitfires and you will never have that issue again. From my experience there is no difference between auto/manual ecu, The A/T light on your dash will be flashing because the shift ECU is not receiving a signal. Just remove the cluster and pull the light out if it annoys you.
  7. When we did the manual conversion on my r34 we used the following for the reverse wiring - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=2606536 As for the speedo, I've got no idea. I think it has something to do with the abs sensor in the diff
  8. Decent set of coilovers and an lsd, I wouldnt bother modifying the motor. Waste of time and money
  9. Hey all, I am chasing a standard R34 steering wheel in good condition, to replace my one that is in very poor condition. Please let me know what you have Cheers Shane
  10. Spotted EZY34 out at QR yesterday... God damn it was a hot day
  11. Cheers I bought them months ago and spent the whole time trying to decide whether to paint them the same colour as the car or not. Was bored the other day and decided to fit them I think I made the right decision
  12. Excellent, Just what i needed to know
  13. Hey All, Im in need of some new brake pads for my R34 25gt, I was simply wondering if the pads are the same as an R33 Gts, both front and rear. If not, what pads do i need Thanks In advance Shane
  14. I converted my R34 to manual about 8 months ago, its the best thing you can do... Its now a lot more responsive and fun to drive, It will be even better when i finally get around to putting the the 4.3 gears from a manual diff in
  15. Just a pic of my car from a recent drift day
  16. I really should do something about the fading on my pillars
  17. I agree, my afm shit itself a month or so ago and it was giving me the exact same symptoms. I gave it a clean it it made no improvement, so i re-soldered where the plug joins to the board and all my problems were solved
