  1. yes they are http://www.aclperformance.com.au/NissanRB25DETForgedPistons.htm
  2. ACL do a race piston, gasket and bearing kit.
  3. if you remove it then you will save about 25kg, easier access to oil filter, better handling. cons= keeping it
  4. I had some cleaned in Kelmscott at $30 each. Can't remember the name of the business but great job and customer service.
  5. Coventrys have a good selection. Redline light weight shockproof is 75w-140.
  6. Mine did that when the alternator was on its way out. Otherwise open your boot look under your parcel shelf there will be a metal box off centre to the right hanging off the parcel shelf. Make sure it is connected. It is speed sensitive steering, which comes on at slow speeds to help with parking and slow maneuvres but turns off at higher speed.
  7. Thanks bubba. Niran The cusco RS is more friendly than the track oriented MZ. I had the same issue when choosing my diff so I bought an ATS 2-way carbon diff. Just have to get it fitted now.
  8. Where is a good place to get a LSD installed NOR?
  9. motorkhana: http://people.aapt.net.au/~dselliott/motorkhana.htm superkhana: http://www.classicrally.com.au/
  10. Neo is top feed high impedence, but not the same as rb20. Other rb25 is side feed like sr20. So you need neo specific injectors.
  11. Before entering a superkhana or motorkhana you need to have a cams license LS2 which is $100 a year. To get the cams license you need to be a member of a cams affiliated club. I join the mini car club of wa for $30 per year. A superkhana round will cost you $60 + fuel. A motorkhana round will cost you $40 + fuel. For a motorkhana there is no need for a helmet. Superkhana you need a helmet, long pants and long sleeves. Take into consideration tyre wear which depends on your driving style.
  12. More control. When I ripped the hicas out I found I was able to take high speed corners quicker.
  13. You will need a Z32 computer to run the vct as the rb20 does not have it. Speak to Andrew at Hyperdrive 92093100. I think he charges $900 for the nistune installed and tuned. The play around with the Z32 computer will be extra.
  14. Can someone please check: HCR32-279294 Thank you
  15. If one side is 15mm lower than the other you probably have a gtr shock absorber in a gtst. Tein Super Street with EDFC are great on street and track, well worth the cash. A camber kit, sway bars, caster rods and replacement of worn bushes also recomended.
  16. Take care of the handling and braking before power ups.
  17. Check out www.hypergear.com.au they can hi-flow or build you a turbo to your specs for a decent price.
  18. What time are you planning on departing from the meet points?
  19. Andrew does safe tunes, but you can specify how hard you want him to push it. He does do a good job..
  20. O2 sensor should be about $100 new. Or you can try the wrecker for second hand.
  21. if you're not thrashing it then its the O2 sensor.
