Yeh the cool pschhh sound everyone loves is a novelty. It draws so much attention to your car and makes me afraid to use heavy throttle. I'm chasing a GTR bov atm so i can still have high boost and keep it quiet. I too have been on a suspension for the past 9 months (about to get it back!!!) and don't ever want to loose it again.

Ive got adjustable castor bushes not sure about the details though. Could they be adjusted to be too sensitive?

Hi all, i have a 33 gtst with tein ss kit, suspension feels awesome and was tuned by fulcrum. But when travelling on highways my steering shakes. Happens over 100 kmph. A friend suggests a simple wheel alignment will fix it, im concerned its more. Anyone's thoughts?

Read your manual, i have my set on 45 i think and 23 gain and 12 for set gain. Gives about 12 psi.

Hi all, my gtst makes about 180 rwkw with basic mods - air filter, fmic, power fc, profec spec b (12psi), 3 inch turbo back exhaust. I want to take it to the next level but i'm not totally sure what to get. I know i need to upgrade my fuel system so a new fuel pump, maybe a fuel regulator? 550cc injectors and a GTRS turbo. I would like around 230-250 rwkw, not a whole lot but enough to beat the odd GTR.

Am i looking at a whole new exhaust system or just replacing the end with a splitting pipe? How much and who can do it?

Maybe a Varex muffler would be more what i want?

Hi all, I want to put a stock 33 muffler instead of my 3 inch cannon because i want less police attention. My question is if my power fc was tuned with the exhaust would putting the stock exhuast back on really mess with the tune?

Yeah it sounds like the same noise. I changed my oil like 20 k's ago, motul 4100 and it had only been 4500 k's. The noise was before i changed my oil filter and after. Goes away after a short drive.

Ok i've had my license suspended for the last 9 months. My R33 hasnt been driven much since and im worried the odd bolt or screw has come loose if you know what i mean. When i turn my car on a ticking noise can be heard from the engine somewhere, I cant tell what it is. If i drive for a bit the noise goes away, im thinking the engine needs to be driven a bit to break it in. The car has all the basic mods. So besides an oil and filter change (which ive done already) what should i be looking at before i can say its back to full strength?

Ive got a question for the difference with knock levels. Some times when im driving casually using 12 psi not flooring at all ive had knock levels up 125 and no noise or difference what so ever in the engine. Other times ive had back fire and knock levels up to 100 or so.

I know this sounds like the most simple and talked about topic on the forum but i have been searching for the past week and found nothing to help me. I have a turbosmart BOV, dont know the model. It flutters heaps and has a spitting noise. How can i adjust it to make a clean hiss noise?

i use motul 4100, its pretty good. But alot of people use Mobil 1 Super synthetic. I'm going to try that next 5000 k's

No i mean going over the tune of the ecu again, like defragging a computer every so often.

My cat sensor wire is slightly cut, i think i drove over something sharp. The dash light is permanently on, merely replace wire to fix??

Does a power fc'd skyline need regular "tuning", like changing the oil every 5000 ks?

i have the same problem, mine started when i bought my r33 gtst, it had apparently been run on 100 octane petrol and tuned on it too. I started putting 98 octane petrol in it and it came up. Could be the reason or another tuning issue.

R33's are the best value for power around ATM. An S15 might be nice but it's a rip off. The S models are more of elegence range of cars where the skylines are much more tuner friendly and more grunt to them. Depends what you want really, both are great cars. If I had heaps of mulah i would have a track R34 GTR and a road S15.

no its permanently on, knock levels are under 20 even with high load. The power Fc sensor check says it needs attention.
