ppl are paying fees for social for access to the events section, stickers, membership cards and payment to the running of these forums.

I spose i better start off by asking you if you will be a moderator? If so... welcome aboard! i think u have shown without a doubt that you are a welcome member to this club to be. Youve always been more than helpful and have put urself out on many occasions for the ppl on this board. cheers, inark

well i remember there was a track day held by the Nissan Datsun club which u didnt need it... will look into it tho. i will organise a meeting soon for the guys that want to help out so that we can get a few things down and get the ball rolling. u dont have to be apart of the club to help out on the track days either i think so if any friends or family dont mind helping outwould be good. not too sure how much it will be to hold a track day either i spose we can sort that out later on.

track days dont matter about what car u got or what mods... its about experiencing things that most ppl dream about... ive always wanted to go out on to a track and see what i can do no matter what car im in... its not a race jayden so if ur car isnt AS fast its no matter no one will laugh... cause thats not the type of ppl that we want in the club. West... no rollcage will be needed James & Max thats great to hear... also for cams affiliation we will need volunteers of about 10+ppl who will need to be trained by the CAMS guys as field marshalls etc for track days... this means NO track work for these ppl and they will only be doing marshalling so im sure from the guys who arent going to go the full membership we can organise ppl from the club to do stuff like this if they have the time. will keep u guys updated as we go.

with the full membership u will need to pay 30-50 a year ontop of the $20 (or around there)... which includes cams, track days, official cruises and bbqs and functions etc

As it says... Our biggest issue at the moment in getting this club up and running officially is the fact that we have a very diverse range of people wanting membership and wanting to be apart of that glorious thing that is, SAU_VIC. On one hand we have the people that want CAMS affiliation, track days exclusive to our members. On the other we have those that just want to be apart of SAU to hang out, enjoy and do things with those that are in this group as we all are a great bunch of people, more of a social skyline enthusiast type role Now the first option is great and what we all deep down want. Involvement in a club that is able to hold track days and group events exclusive to our club. The only issue with this is that it gets costly. Just to get the club up and running with CAMS affiliation is going to cost us all. There is also a lot of paper work associated with it and a lot of time needs to be dedicated. We will need a ABN, PO BOX, Public Liability etc etc and this costs money. Lets say we got this far, we would then need someone/people dedicated to planning and organising events. When i say events im not talking about "yeah we are going to meet up at bell st maccas and cruise down to st kilda", im talking about a proper event, with maps and a purpose. This type of club will take dedication from people who can dedicate their time and resources into the club. It will also not be a cheap club to join from what we have already researched and as such may not be viable for a lot of people out there. As such i think we need to find some way to have both! Track days and such for those that want it and just social events for those that dont want to have to pay for the rest of it. Perhaps we can make a club that has those who want track work etc and on the side with lesser access and so fourth have a "social club" for those that who just want to go on general cruises, meets etc. I would say that the best way to do this would be to put it to a poll and let u guys decide.

the 97 was a 220kw as stated.. which is most likely what it was u raced eric. i raced one in my 32 a while back (the 220kw) and beat it. i think sxual he is saying that u said the VT never came in a 300kw flavour... which is wrong.

i had no speakers in the car... i removed them... still does it. yeah i thought it was the fuel too... which is why it was getting louder the faster i went.

thats ur hicas computer... i always wondered where that annoying sound was coming from... ever since i took the rear seat out theres an annoying shhhhh sound coming from the back that gets louder the faster u go.
