u serious? i think its time for u to learn to drive a manual even in auto u should be able to beat it.... stall it up a little next time... even my 32 thrashes veradas and magna sports models easily.

Alright... after almost destroying my gfs front vertex bar and left front wheel today i thought i might post up and encourage others to post up areas in which parts of the road can be dangerous to go over in "modified" cars or any other car for that matter. DO NOT SPAM/WHORE THIS THREAD OR U WILL BE PUT IN THE PIT WITH MONKEY FOR A WEEK. and u dont want that So keep it on topic. Area: St.Kilda Location: Turning left onto Princess St from Barkly St. At the lights turning left there is a massive pothole/missing section of Rd. Area: Elsternwick Location: Intersection of Nepean Hwy & Glenhuntly Rd both ways down Nepean Hwy. Where the tracks are when crossing the Rd it dips... lowered cars with soft suspension make sure you are doing under the speed limit at that point 60k or less.

keep the posts on topic and dont just post for the hell of it.... *cough* slywpn*/cough* as mentioned it all depends on what u can do... when u decide to change... how u use ur clutch.... what revs u dump it from first. in my car power peaks at around 6100 to 6200 so changing any later than that is really a waste of time as the power tapers off by 7000rpm... i hit max boost at 4100 so its a good idea not to stall the revs anywhere near that high or the wheels will just spin on the spot. ive found in my car the ideal launch is at about 3500rpm... i normally dont floor it flat just hold it til i feel the car grip... once it grips i floor it and change it into second as hard as i can... rev out to about 7000 and change into third... by the time the revs hit about 7000 again im pretty much near the end of the qtr and just let it ring out to about 8500

hahaha an XF.... screw that... u can get a nice series 4 cheap as these days so u would have a lot left over from ur line to fix/mod it up... i was thinking of selling my 32 and buying a s4 rx7 til i had enough for a monster GTR in a couple of years... convertibles are going for about 8k landed and complied.
