yeah i didnt do up the clamp from the plenum to pipe hose... all fixed

u think i wasnt!!! well actually i did... i forgot to tighten up the hose clamp on the pipe from the plenum and was dropping boost pressure funny that. but yeah the engine seems to be running fine now so i dont think ive done any damage munkeh - yeah it is.... reckon the paint would stick?? its heat resistant paint anyway.... maybe i leave it black and paint the screw bits yellow EDIT*** denham - not to sure if im going to bother puting the cooler on now if im going to be getting a GTR next year... might just save my money.

ummmm.... which pipe is it? the one from the plenum to the cooler? is it a stock setup? do u have any pics? i reckon powder coating should do the trick... i guess theres only one way to find out... take it somewhere and see what they say. not sure if theres anything else u can do...

actually that normally points to the "no cat" syndrome which is a 10,000 dorra fine or more.

dale - yup... going to polish the cam covers next weekend and im trying to get this polished plenum from Adam in WA but i think someone else beat me to it... he hasnt emailed me yet. got the simota (think thats what it is, had no labeling on the packet) and the adaptor from Auto-1 where troy (ylwgtr) works over the other side of the city... was when i first got to see troys beast and yeah 80 bucks and works like a charm. gordon - yeah still got to paint a few more things to the left... getting a century battery also cause its about the same yellow hehe and when the cam covers and stuff are polished it should look pretty nice. acs - theres a difference between LEDs and huge wings which offend the eyes and painting ur engine bay which no one can see unless u drive around without the bonnet on

get them powder coated? thats relatively cheap and would help heaps... also, get it done inside and out... if thats possible.... cant see why not.

fine... please... colour doesnt make rice... u either have a set standard for rice or u like it all... no in between!! once my polished cam covers and plenum are on it will look mint! need to tidy up a few things in there to.

all i took off was the piping and the rocker cover... oh and the BOV. Now i only hit 7psi instead of 12... What do you reckon the issue is???
