Hello, Can some one please inform me a bit more about how these VX-ROM's work and what to expect from them. They do one for the VQ25DET, as well as some sort of shift kit for the transmission. Would be greatly appreciated. http://www.mines-wave.com/english/CATALOG/...RONICS_TUNE.htm Jules

Chris, You seem to know a bit about the Bose setup on the M35. Are there any inputs behind the dash somewhere. I want to set up a PS2 for the rear seats and what the sound through the Bose set up.... Jules

Danish Stagea On Dyno Again

Sighs...... with envy -
As far as I know Autech do the AXIS & 350S in the M35, The AXIS has the Black graphite trim inside the dash and decals plus all the normal goodies the ARX has, except the ride height is lower and the suspension is firmer, plus the body kit is colour matched (good idea). It has the same VQ25DET as the others. The 350S was the same as the AXIS, except is had the VQ35DE engine and the very cool 6 speed manual, which I would love in my AXIS...if only some one can confirm it will fit.

It appears that this is turning in to one evil car...........it will be good to see a 1/4 mile time when you can... -
As Andy said a free flowing exhaust, better and bigger turbo never hurt anyone, larger Intercooler, better ECU/Computer, improved induction.....that should help you get started. Serious mods will require changes to internals...... If you cant find stuff for the M35 Stag try similar parts on V35 Skylines many parts are 1 and the same. "WARNING" If you plan to put serious horsies in the Stag invest in better brakes, 6 or 8 Pots will set you back about $2k a pair but will more than do the job. Common problem with most Japanese Performance wagons, great power average brakes........Make sure you find calipers that use easy available pads.... Jules

No offical figures for 0-100 but it is in the 6's and that was just with a hand timer. Sourcing "Sick" body kits will be hard as you will need to import from Japan but the options there are quite good. Getting 300kw is acheivable but you are looking at decent mods, I reckon you will get to 260kw easy enough (note easy not cheap) getting past that will be tougher. If you want 300kw I reckon you would be better off getting a Series 2 260RS, they will handle mods in excess of 300kw if your wallet is big enough and you have no Phobia of current fuel prices. If it is M35 you desire then maybe looking at one of the 250RT or RS models and with the cash you save spend it on performance mods.

Hello, Was looking at a Unichip or the likes, has anyone upgraded to an after market one, if so let us know how it went and what brand you used...... If any of you other "Boffins" know a good brand or solution for our VQ25DET engines it would be greatly appreciated. Jules

Hello, I just spoke to them and he told me he noticed a huge difference with his R33 Skyline with their brakes. He suggested 8 Pots for the front and 6's for the rear. They are designed to run off the stock OEM master cylinder. Prices were $2,200.00 for front 8 Pots - 330mm rotors $2,300.00 for rear 6 pots - 330mm rotors Excludes fitting, they could fit them for about $200'ish if purchased directly through them. Jules

Hello, Ok that should make it easier then, I was looking at these from A & B Motor sports, who are conveniently located in Brookvale. http://www.aandbmotorsports.com/brake.html I like the looks of the 6 & 8 Pot Brakes. The brakes on the M35 Stagea are less than desirable, I reckon some 8 pots would help a bit.....LOL Jules
-
Hello, Dont want to sound ignorant, but what size are the size of the rotors on the M35 Stagea, looking to upgrade the brakes. Are they the same as the V35 Skylines. If you know can you please post up all specs. Jules

I like your way of thinking.........

I have noticed it, sounds like something is loose, I was told it is common but poses no safety issues......

CTP or Compulsory Third Party is mandatory in all states, in SA the premium is collected by the state and managed by Allianz, some states you can choose your CTP provider such as NSW, QLD. ACT is a monopoly by NRMA, then TAS, VIC, WA & NT are government run. It is in your rego regardless. Covers all those injured as a result of the drivers fault, it been going in SA since 1947. Jules

Hey there, Thank you for your interest in our templates. Unfortunately though, we don't have anything for this model. We will send you an email if a cluster crosses our path. We need a cluster to create the first set of white dials. If you're able to send us your cluster we could create the white dials, install them and send them back to you. We do understand that you may not be able to do this but we are just throwing it out there as an option if you u can. For the set of white dials and installation it is usually valued at $183 ($83 for the dial faces and $70 for fitting) but we would do this for you at $80.00 as you're helping us with a new item. Registered post is approximately $15.00 and we would be happy to pay our side of the postage if you're happy to pay your side. Have a think about it and get back to us. Have a great day from April and Ren at Cruizin Central cruizincentral@yahoo.com -

I was actually looking for some for my M35 Stag on e-bay, none there but I did e-mail the guys who make them...a couple of them actually Some of them replied and said they have full kits for C34 but not M35, 1 had full kits for M35 at a good price and the last one would do it cheap to cut up teh first one as they could sell more later... If you like I can post more info as it means you could buy some of them now''ish..... I am no way affiliated with any of them, just doing my own research.. Jules
