Nice mate! If you're going Chinese for the intake plenum (the greddy knockoffs) make sure you check for leaks before you drive it away. Look especially hard at the.. stalks? where it comes out of the engine, mine had a pinprick - 1 drop and thanks to the tuners these guys found and fixed it! Leaks are easy to fix if spotted right away - a cooked engine is not what you want! But that is bloody tidy, I've just had some work done myself, so I'll put up my build thread when I get a proper camera

If people have a great product, it's worth it to have someone write it that can do it properly. So hi, Car is in the shop having all the engine mods done, and I get it back on Thursday. Meanwhile I have some stuff to go on, and id like to not have to stop half way thru cos I cant work something out. Tail lights - I've had a quick squiz and it seems getting the inside hatch panel out might be tricky, anyone know where all the bolts are? Roof Racks - How do I get them off? I want to respray them Outside door trims - Want to paint these too, whats the best way to get them off? Weather shields - Same again, how to get them off? On a side note, Ill be mucking around making some eyelids too, I'll be making a few styles to see what I like, any left over will likely be thrown up on here. What looks good? Stag is a S1. Thanks!

If you're going to buy engine parts research first, as I found out the hard way some parts will fit from an r33 gts and some must be gtr. Also,and especially if its awd (i cbf scrolling back), and engine swap from r33 will be near impossible (diffs,chassis shape and the like). Don't be scared to ring up tuning shops and pick their brains, but make sure they know what a stagea is. C-Red in Perth are gods, I cannot emphasize this enough. There is 24 and 45 stamped lazily inside the spokes. The cast there is a 3|5: ┴3 and on the inner hub bit on the inside there is 30 and 35 cast. They're most recently off a GTS4 so Im thinking mid 30s offset Mike are they allowed to poke out like that? I thought it was illegal?

Ok on inspection of the inside of the rim I cant find anything that hints on offset, and it turns out they're 19x9.5 They are second hand so there's no sticker, but theres little random numbers all over the place, still nothing that I could reliably call an offset - is there a way I can measure it? The tyres (need new ones) are 275s, could anything be gained by putting 265 or 255s on them? Thanks

OK I won't bother with the story, but seems I have some wheels that are much to wide to be allowed (19x10). Now these are only on the rear of the S1, and at the moment (we did a test fit) it rubs nastily on the strut and spring. I'm not much good with suspension so I need some help here. I have a set of tein coilovers to go on, but after I do that, what am I going to need to do to make these wheels fit? Mates and I are seeming to think wheel spacer and then guard rolling/flaring. So then I must ask - is this right? Where do I go about acquiring spacers and who/how do I pump the guards so the wheels don't jut out steamroller style? Halp! Thanks.
