  1. I guess it depends what you want it too look like in the end.....I like the clean std look.....as new, not schalaked up sticky sorta thing..
  2. If they're the ones I'm thinking of, they're called scrivets (as in screw rivets!) But yeah, they're designed to be pushed in in one second flat, and spread out the base to hold things down (as a rivet does) but able to be unscrewed (never the case). Just get a tiny screwdriver, get it under the edge of the centre part of the screw and without pushing down hard unscrew the screw part. Sounds easy, and really it is. This should get even the most stubborn ones out. If not, if you can get your hand under neath the bumper part, squeeze the parts that are on the bottom of these scrivets so that the thread on the thing can grip, and unscrew itself whilst you undo it Hope this can help you out in some way :) Steve
  3. I use a product made by Armour All, called 'General Purpose Cleaner'. It can be used on the interior, engine and wheels. It works excellently on all of the above :) Steve
  4. I just use 'auto king bumper and tyre spray' Its cheaper then the brand name stuff, its silicone spray so its naturally shiny, and wont do ****e to your tyres. If you really wanna get it off, just use wax and grease remover, no worries. And BTW, that photo of the R33 with the black stuff on the bumper looks more like the car infront of it got started up, and blew a heap of rich running black fuel all over it...
  5. Cheers all for your help Well, after doing a little more research, I found out that you have to be in direct sunlight, or use a bright torch directed straight into the sunlight sensor, otherwise it renders a fault. I did this, and sure enough only the disconnected internal temp sensor reads as a trouble fault now (and its pretty obvious why it does ) Thanks all, and if anyone can tell me where the two black wires coming outta this sensor actually go, it would be freekin excellent Thanks again, Steve
  6. Hrm, only my little ke20 'rolla LOL. Not quite the cruising beast soon enough tho ........cant wait
  7. LOL, well, I'd absolutely LOVE to bring it out, except its not complied ....yet, so I'll have to wait for a few weeks .. Steve
  8. Kewl Bozz, cheers I tried that, and it certainly does force it to hot or cold, but after I checked the self diagnostics on the climate control, it tells me the sun load sensor, and the internal air temp sensor are no good.....(well obviously ) What sorta affect will a malfunctioning sunload sensor have on the system? See, even in FC mode, the A/C won't go cold either. (I also noticed the fan infront of the A/C condensor doesn't operate) Oh yeah, and where are the two plain black wires from the internal temp sensor meant to be going, mine are cut, and I can't for the life of me see where they are meant to go?? Thanks heaps for the help so far guys, This site ROCKS:burnout: Steve
  9. Yeah, true, I know what you mean I think that the amount of oil in the upper end of the motor would be such an amount that it wouldn't be worth worrying about when weighing it up against how long it would take to drain a cold motor.... Know what I mean ??
  10. Well generally, you do it when the motor is hot so that the oil is thinner and you can get most of it out. (relatively quickly too) Hope this helps, Steve
  11. Cheers guys So would I be correct in saying that with it not connected like it is at present, the A/C won't go cold? It seems as tho no matter what temp you set it on, its always on warm. The A/C compressor clicks on in the engine bay, so that sounds o.k...... I don't know. Does anyone know any more about this system?? Cheers, Steve
  12. Hey all, my A/C doesnt seem to work, I know a little about how these things work in the skylines, but was wondering what this sensor is for, and where the hell the wires *should* be going.... If somone could help me out here, it would be great (see attached picture for what I'm on about ) Cheers, Steve
  13.
