  1. When your car gets 'complied', they replace the CAT for that exact reason...
  2. My R32 gtst does EXACTLY what kabab describes his does in the morning. I put it down to the cold start sensor thing that joel had a thread about ages ago, where he cleaned it out etc.... because exactly as soon as my temp guage gets to half way (as in the car has warmed up) the hesitation, no light throttle feeling goes away with a splurge. It will have no light throttle, then vroom, all is normal. My car is standard, apart from the apexi air filter. I dunno, but its still going, so I'm happy Steve (aka toy_R32, aka steve_R32)
  3. I got my single DIN pocket from TOYOTA brand new, cost $8. You will have to make some brackets to mount it, nothing too hard. Others say you can get ones that will bolt straight in, not sure where they said they got them now? Anyone?
  4. How do you actually 'adjust' the pinapples? Ive not seen any installed on a car, not 100% on how they adjust so to speak. Anyone? Steve
  5. Well, Im 24, i sold my old ET pulsar (which I had in hot4's and on autospeed.com- bright green ET) for a tidy sum (well under 10k BTW), bought and sold a few cheap cars:) I like saying that too, can you tell LOL. But i borrowed money from a bank to get the ET, but borrowed more then what I knew I could get the car for so I could spend on mods..... worked hard and spent a shit load more on it too. But had it a mag, and online plenty of times to make it worth it I guess PS- secretly always wanted a skyline Steve
  6. sorry, by the time i posted, you guys had already posted LOL
  7. maybe he means the climate control setting, it says a/c is on, no matter what the temp.
  8. Pull your centre console out, and check the handbrake warning light wire is connected properly, and has no parts that are earthing onto the chassis anywhere. It may have wiggled loose, or may have some stripped insulation somewhere and swings somewhere it can earth only when you swing it right....Hard to say man, but definately worth a look Steve
  9. Check the sensor near the deck, to the right of it. You may have to pull the deck out (not sure what type you put in there, single or double DIN) two wires and a hose to the sensor. This is the interior temp sensor, mine wasnt connected (actually, wires were cut, damn thieves ) and only hot would work. Try look, you never know
  10. At work we have this 3M product that looks like a big lump of plastacine. You use it with soapy water and rub it over the panel to remove any overspray, without damaging the paint. Maybe this is similar? I dunno If not, why not just give it a good buff?? Steve
  11. You sure its not just some industrial fall out of some sort? Maybe see a local crash repairer, and ask about a decent buff. ?
  12. If its what you say, I can't imagine any other way short of buzzing it back and repainting... Where the hell did you park it??
  13. G'day BRUTE, I detailled you ute the other day Steve
  14. I had new magna ones fitted to mine when it was complied.....They look o.k I guess
  15. MY R32 gtst won't show the hicas light at all. Full stop. There is no light from what I've seen. It seems to turn o.k, but i've NFI if the 4ws is actually working or not. The computer is still plugged in under the rear parcel shelf, the rack is still there, all of the hydraulic lines are still there... I dunno? Steve
  16. Gavin told me the R32 gts-t's flywheels are already pretty light, and he wouldn't want to take anything outta it.....not worth it. Don't really want a flywheel breaking up @ 8000rpm I guess Hows the GTR's goin' Munro?? Steve
  17. I second that, speak to Gavin.... Call him on 82342222
  18. Hey Howie, I had exactly that bar on the front of my R32 aswell (till I lunched it on a fence- long story) What I'm getting at is that mine had a set of PIAA spot lights fitted. They are still ok, I have all of the wiring and switch to go with it, if you would like to buy them (will make the front of your car look more complete) e-mail me if you wanna chat about it - [email protected] Im in Adelaide aswell, Steve
  19. I've only got a Speco boost guage, for the same reason as stated before, I don't like the std mm/HG boost guage in the dash. I'll attach a pic , see where i've mounted it..... Steve
  20. Got a GTR rear wing also, NEED a front bar C'mon, some one wanna swap?
  21. Want to swap my 4ch KAC-746 Kenwood amp for a Fibreglass R32 GTR front bumper. Cash difference if needed..... if interested, mail me - [email protected] Steve
  22. R33 Looks nice Klas Love the Black skylines, whatever model they may be Steve
  23. Sorry, i didn't make it clear in that last post, but the std battery (with the small japanese terminals) was roooooted. I bought a new aussie battery, and up-graded the terminals at the same time, so it all fell into place. If you have any Questions, ask away Steve
  24. Too easy, just done it on my 32...... I bought some gold terminals from dick smith, cant remember the price... but simply cut the old terminals off (and not to mention my std battery was COMPLETELY dead too, wouldnt hold a charge at all) stripped the wire back a bit, and undid the little allen key things, put it in. Too easy. They have smaller allen key parts for the other smaller wires that go to the ignition and what ever else you want to wire to them.......I'll post a pic, have a look..... Steve
  25. I have put my Pioneer 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf of my R32, on spacers. They just fit between the window, and the seat, theyre definately not coming out. They do certainly have a bit of bass, nothing like subs of course, but they were never meant to be like that anyways. I think it sounds good, for the simple system it is (Clarion CD deck, the aforementioned 6x9s, and kenwood 4x6 in the front) But this way, no cutting of the rear shelf. Steve
