  1. Just go to a local car dealer and ask them where they got theirs from.
  2. I don't think they were his cars. All thieves should be castrated/shot/maimed. A similar thing happened a little while ago to another importer who had half a dozen cars stolen that weren't even complied yet. He did eventually get them back at a cost. I can't believe that they stole them at 7:30-9pm considering that there are plenty of people around.
  3. What a mess indeed. I have heard that it was the [sCREMA] plated Ferrari.
  4. Yes, I was with Dave, Mansoor and LizJane and Liz plus others there. Wollomgong was a full of police (as expected and predicted), but the police at Albion Park weren't that bad.
  5. There weren't any defect stations from Heathcote Road and down the freeway until you got to the Wollongong exit at Mt Ousley. Most people ust kept going down to Albion Park. Plenty of Police around, but as long as you behaved, there weren't any problems. Although a Lambo Murcielago (?) was pulled up by a revenue speed trap on the way down the freeway. And one Ferrari didn't behave on the way back and was smashed up quite badly on the freeway. The BP servo was nowhere near big enough, yet the Police had blocked the entry to the airport park, which was empty and could accommodate hundreds of cars easily. We were able to get in via the one way road on the south side heading north on Princes Highway and it was empty. Good cruise though plenty of nice machines, with one phat old school Monaro being taught a nice GTR lesson
  6. Exakary. Plenty of cars from Minis to Valiants to Ferraris to Mercs to Hummers. Where's all the Skylines?
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=113999 It's on EVERY year.
  8. "Hasham's:" is here: There is a loop rd just after the Endeavour Bridge at Gate 18.
  9. Thanks Duncan. Know where I can get a HKS ETC+EDA for an R32?
  10. btw, that BP servo will not hold 100 cars let alone 500 cars that will turn up. I would suggest that everyone goes to the Airport park off the side street across the road.
  11. That is just the "official" car club cruise organisers flyer. But as always happens, well over 500 cars turn up "unofficially".
  12. There will be well over 80 rotors and VL's meeting at "Hasham's" on General Holmes Drive near the airport tower and where the M5 starts/ends. I would suggest that everyone avoids the mess at Roselands/Kingsgrove and just head down the beach and onto Princes Highway blending in with the rest of the cars a few km into the cruise route.
  13. Can't be bothered reading all 8 pages. Would you recommend this for drag racing applications? Or does it work differently to the HKS ETC?
  14. Alot of car groups (eg, Rotors) are not meeting at Roselands, which is a good idea, as there is always too many cars there and it grid locks. Sylvania is a good place to meet as most of the cars travel right past there. Might see if I can make it down to Carlton. I would suggest that people do not go into wollongong itself as that is where the police will feel the need to start defects when things get crowded. There is plenty of room at Albion Park for all.
  15. Do Duncan's ones have a 2wd/4wd switch too? GTS4Newbie, Check in Group Buy section for them.
  16. No longer I-N. Have fun and drive safe guys and girls.
  17. I was never asked for a de-reg certificate when I imported 3 cars under the 15 year rule. However, I did provide at least one VIA with the car's de-registration cert.
  18. I don't see the problem here. If the vehicle has previously been issued with an import approval under the old 15 year rule regulations, then this import approval is still valid. If you have already checked with DOTARS as you have said then all you would need is a copy (or re-issue) of the import approval from DOTARS. I am not sure if they will re-issue an import approval to anyone but the original applicant, but a call to DOTARS can confirm that. However, be careful that the car was not approved to be imported for RACE USE ONLY. Again, DOTARS will be able to confirm. Then all you would need is a RWC and compliance (to meet the 15 year rule regulations, not SEVS) in order to register the car in your state. You don't need the japanese de-registration papers, only a reciept of purchase from the guy you bought it from.
  19. Should be a great spectacle Would love to see side-by-side Nissan RB26 9 sec passes. And I am also offering to be a pit hoe.
  20. I've driven an LTX12s GTR with 600+HP up and down the coast on a daily basis (not just around the block); it drove and idled perfectly with very good fuel economy and never missed a beat. Goes back to the saying that an ECU is only as good (or bad) as its tuner. However, unless you are chasing huge power, I would recommend a power FC.
  21. There was also an RB26 powered VN commonwhore that ran 11's.
