  1. cheers mate, yea something different out there so ill keep sliding it lol. mates got a hr30 that should b out there soon.. oh yea paint job is on the cards, was gonna wait abit till i got better so less of a chance of hittin the wall or something
  2. probably the most spins ive had out there. but was tryin to go bit harder/faster and 1st time ive had a handbrake, so that was fun givin entries ago. if anyones got anymore pics of the red dr30 send em my way!! cheers...
  3. yes they will but once u cut the drum off u will have to make ur own brackets to mount the calipers off. or find a r30 hatch 280zx etc with rear disc's and use their swing arms. but then no point cos already have disc's 4 the rear..
  4. yea on a r31 rears vn-vs calipers fit. same spacing etc and just use commo pads. just remembered that im runnin brackets that the calipers mount on cos was old r180 drum rear which i converted to disk. so have to double check the caliper bolt spacing on stock r30 rear disk brake calipers. if that makes any sense.. oh and with commodore calipers u cant use ur handbrake cos their drum. so either r31 calipers or just r30's (280zx?)
  5. r31 and s13 (sr20) rears r the same. im runnin them on the back of my dr. but with vs commo calipers. using hydraulic handbrake tho, as commodore handbrake is drum
  6. yea normally cheaper to buy front end all at once. but thats if u can find 1. got my ironmark for $500 then bought the car for $500 in the end lol
  7. was a iron mask front for sale up in qld a while back. no idea if sold by now or who the seller was. but was on here somewhere.. will upgrade rear swaybar when i find a cheap 1 goin. had a 31 bar layin round from 1 i use to own. made a huge difference out on the track, took out alot of understeer and just felt more stable when goin over 80ks sideways. also got unknown rear spring rates that feel bit soft so that wouldnt be helpin tho..
  8. wheres everyone find these dr pics. their awesome just runnin basic stuff mate, im a tight ass apprentice lol. s13 coils, welded diff, r32 brakes, hydro, r31 swaybar, rb20 (fj was gone when i bought it), cooler, oil cooler, screamer pipe, strutbrace etc hopefully get some more pics next time i go out. been busy so havent been out 2 a drift prac session in months..

  11. say if ya wanted to change the ratios in a r180 from 3.9 to say around 4.11. is there a easy swap from another diff or what else used the r180 in those ratios? just swappin the crown and pinion gear. easy to do it on the r31s bw78's. pinni was 4.11 and skylines were 3.7 and 3.9. then vls were 3.45 i think... wondering if something similar with the r30s etc cheers..

  13. says its rego'd and has number plates on it. but reckon possible plate swap?? i offered the guy something (pending inspection) but didnt want a bar of it. says goin into storage if doesnt sell..

  16. na no good. afm isnt in the afc's voltage range. i tried one while back, worked to about 2000rpm then dies in the ass..

I have a Mr30 skyline that is a unfinished project.Its drivable and can be registered in SA. $3000 O.N.O engine: L24et Rb20 turbo rb30 injectors aftermarket intercooler pod filter vlt fuel pump ka24e throttle body( custom spacer made 2 fit it) split dump pipe 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Exedy hd ceramic clutch s14 radiator with twin thermo fans suspension: s13 coilovers on front. heavy springs on back. rear breaks have been converted 2 disks. R31 front sway bar (bigger). interior: race seats Momo steering wheel exterior: the car is green over gunmetal grey it needs a respray as its been partly sanded down. jdm round lights on the back. work wheels with some dish 16 by 8" with 25mm spacers at the front. Anzio: 0433045356
  22. put new fuel in it? sittin round 4 that long could b ur fuel pressure regulator. stillin around dry 4 ages then sudden burst of pressure could of split the diaphragm. also try some1 elses afm or spray contact cleaner on the hot wire. maybe worth pullin the timing covers off and checkin that the mechanical timing is set correctly. like ya said it could b out a tooth.. also check out this site: http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php plenty of info there. ppl will love ya 4 the gts2 as well lol
  23. set the valve clearances? would contribute to it runnin crap.. can check the cam gear position 2morrow if want. cnt remember it off top of my head.
  24. had similar problem after i changed the head gasket on my old r30. was the fpr. was also runnin l28e afm but was all good. their the same as far as i could tell, only different spring tension on the flap which is easy 2 change. not sure bout the injectors but would say they would b bigger? think l28's r 188cc. not sure what l24s are. but then again i ran 260cc (vlt) injectors when bolted a turbo on and would still run ok, just rich as..
  25. springs r wider on the 31, wont fit in r30 strut towers. brakes r crap as well un sure about the steering knuckle bolt spacing..
