Ladies, All I can say is im pumped and ready to have a blat! Fatz, Are you bringing the BBQ? If so I will bring bread rolls, Meat and some front bum salad. Are we planning a drink after the day? Maybe the cricketers again?

An always I will bring spare long sleeve tops and 2 spare helmets. First in best dresses, but drivers do get priority over passengers. Because we are all in different groups there should not be any issues.

I know a Harley guy who is in Jail because he rigged a switch that diverted the distributor spark from the spark plug to the petrol tank. The thief hot wired his Harley, did hot turn the switch hit the start button and then hit terminal velocity in every direction. A little extreme and the court thought so as well.

Fatz, Do you 4th to 2nd gear at EC turn 2? I do so I take the point, I dont have time to go via 3rd. I guess we spent time being trained by Peter Fin so we are sticklers for the old school!

OK, I suggest a BBQ and lots of beers on a weekend in the near future, we need a video cam and some creative genius, and alcohol should do the rest. I will chuck up a post in the near future.

Fatz, When I blew up the GTR this time last year, and I had the orange avenger (thanks again by the way), myslef and Tam took it to the creek, that car was an 11 sec beast, you just dont know how to drive it! I think we should make an SDU spoff of the "Fatz and the furious" I have some remote R34's and supra's which will be perfect for the stunt sceens. What do you think?

Fatz, I have a friend who breed's tiger snakes if your game! The other way to make your car look ugly is to sit your big ass inside it everytime its outside.

We had some technical problems, I was very hung over, but we were mobile by 10am, got dressed and went to start my wife's bike, flat battery. On charge for 1 hour on the road by 11. Pissed down from 11 - 1, went back home wet, so we did not get out on the bikes.

Yeah, I tride to take turn 8 (Under the Bridge) flat out in 3rd gear (165Km) could not hold on, and ran our of tar. Dirt? Tar? Same thing for a 4 wheel drive.

Zane has some video footage and his times were all about 2.00min flat, which was a little supprising. I think I was about 1-3 sec quicker, but it goes to show what 550cc inj and an Apexi add, last time I was out I ran a 1.53 with Adams brother in the car timing. The XR6 was about 1-3 seconds slower than Zane. I felt like my bike times were low 1:50's. Top speed was 260Km with turn 1 at 180Km.

The best part of the day was actually the bikes. Tam & I rocked around the track. I did a PB on the day, which is now similar to my car times. Because the track was virtually empty I ended up doing 7 sessions on the bike and 5+ in the car, it was a top day, but I’m paying for it today my body is cactus.

It was a top day ladies, The GTS, GTR and XR6T had a great time. The new ford is a nice vehical, the times were not that much different. Brakes were the big difference. Top day you missed out.

Mines have one simple issue. They are a one shot tune, which can only be re-tuned in Jap. If your car has come into the country tuned with one in it, it should be a good thing. Buy one second hand and you never know what mods the car it came off had. With this in mind you can not really expect to do anything major with the car without getting it re-tuned in Jap. My car came into the country with a blown ECU, I was given a Mines ECU off a wreck. The car started but ran like a dog. Too much fuel and bad cold start maps, I assumed the car it came off was highly modified. I would highly not recommend anyone buy a second hand Mines ECU, but if you have one working fine now, you will be limited to any future mods. P.S. I have one for a 33 GTR, which I’m not going to see for the above reasons.

I have one simple rule when it comes to selling a fast car. Test drives are done by me the owner. Any serious buyer will appreciate the fact you respect the car enough not to let kids go for a thrash. My story is Let me take you for a drive, and I will show you how the car drives and handles". You then let them get an NRMA check done if they are serious. Once they are happy and they are about to pay a deposit then I let them drive my car. When a tyre kicker calls just to get a drive, and you say no, using the explanation above, you ensure only serious buyers turn up. It may not work 100% but it removes the idiot factor when selling a performance car.

I would put it down to little notice and the day on the 3rd. Im only keen because I cant make the 3rd. Myself and Tam really need the ride on the bikes a little more than the drive.

Sorry Duncan, 1.53 at the Creek last time we went out. I only had 1 un-hindered lap. Zanes Brother was in the car timing. Boost was .65 Bar with my 40,000km old tyres. I hope to be in the 1.49's within the month.

Moto have just anounced a drive day for the 13th March. Bikes 9-1, Cars 1-5 Wy wife and I will be there in the morning on our Fireblades, I will then be ready for a squirt in the car for the rest of the arvo. If anyone is interested please let me know. I will talk with Dave, but assume a cost of $120 -$150 and I will confirm once I have a few numbers. Thanks

Judd, Thanks for the ECU, the car is back to life again. Its nice feel the power that is a GTR. Thanks and I will return the ECU once my PFC is fixed.

I used the Jeep/Nissan Spare Parts place in Ryde Sydney. If you quote your 4 dig number on your key, they order you a factory cut vertion of what is above. Call Tim 02 96845777, cost about $55

Fatz, The mines ECU I have is crap, the settings are for a big HP car and as such run way too much fuel and bad timing. Im going over to Jap within the year to buy an R34, I was going to take it and swap it for something over there. Do you know how to get it programmed if so Im happy to swap, at least someone may get some good use out of it. Call me if you realy want it, as I have someone who I was going to borrow a STD ECU from tomorrow, I will PM Tlai as well. Thanks
