  1. I drilled 2 holes in top of rebar & used bolts & spacers to fix it in up there. Mine sits on a slight angle(base toward motor with top tucked up under rebar-no cutting required
  2. have driven a new M3, a porsche & I would choose the M3-cant believe I just said that, but it was the M3 I preferred, mad handling & an awesome sound
  3. It is however a great investment if you are doing Circuit work
  4. will send pm on wed to see if this is still around
  5. Correct, thats exactly how I read it too
  6. update Beez35 amendment
  7. Nice one Mel, & welcome
  8. Just a thought, but could it be over fuelling? maybe almost flooding of sorts. I know whenever I rejetted a carby & went too far I would have to hold throttle open-not an efi I know but you have changed the amount of fuel going in it may be messing with cold start map
  9. Mr Ruzic is never very far away from an epic build, mate this motor is a work of art, are you using 1 of Daz's supersumps at all?
  10. Spotted Black R34GTR near Burleigh heads last friday night, very clean white R33gtst on bridgeman drive West Burleigh thursday night, Purple GTR with no wing & black bonnet at Cotlew street roundabout thursday arvo, Black R35GTR opposite JB Hifi Bundall on thursday arvo & a awesome silver R33Gtst I think a fair bit everywhere I turn almost-got cromies on it & looks sweet
  11. Yes I am hoping my phone goes off very soon with a replacement date-hang in there peoples
  12. Keep the 2 weights ie 10W40 close to the temperatures you experience where you live. 10 lowest 40 highest. Its not exactly accurate but its pretty close to what you should use. Read up on articles from 'Bob the oil guy' on a google search
  13. I have spoken to the ladies at Willowbank's booking office, they are in the process of sorting the Winternationals & are flat out. They will contact me asap with the replacement date. Once this has come thru to me I will post the response immediately. Pm's will be sent to all to advise of the new date. Thanks for your patience Todd
  14. We are not taking shots at you mate, what the guys are trying to point out is a slight change to the way you approach bumps, driveways will save you from this happening again. Approach steep d'ways at a 60-45deg angle. Speed humps shouldn't cause you too many prob's but the same technique for those too if you think your gonna hit. Wheels are the particular taste of the owner. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise. If you like Rays-buy Rays, if you like simmons-buy simmons. I rekon a b45 Simmons wheel looks f'n awesome on a 33. Just try for something relatively lightish. ie pick one up be4 you buy, if it weighs a ton then it will affect your performance
  15. Treat them how you would wish to be treated yourself, If you think you shouldn't be told by someone you wish to employ that they were pregnant-then dont, however-if you think that a potential employee of yours should have the nuts to be straight up then tell them. Remember what goes around comes around
  16. Agreed, it is very good, I have had a Dr Drift remap & have now changed over to the Nistune. No reflection on Sam(Dr Drift's) work at all as the only reason I changed over was due to Sam being in Melbourne & I am here in Queensland so retunes have been impossible when I upgraded bits & pieces. The Nistune has enabled me to increase my power to a little over 200rwkw in my RB20DET. I am now at the limits of the Nistune & have been advised to go for something like a wolf v4 or v500 next to achieve the 230rwkw mark as it has more scope & smaller rpm tuning increments ie 150 rpm steps. For an everyday tuning system Nistune is great. For more advanced tuning aftermarket ECU is better. I have more than a few mates who have PFC. They all rave about it as a great system. But correct me if I am wrong but APEXi are gone. I am not bagging out PFC at all but I believe you are better to go something more current. Stop in at your tuners & have a chat. Take with you all the plans you have for your ride & let him/her know what your eventual goal is. That will help them help you with the correct choice for your application
  17. Before you throw hard earned at a new front bar, go to a hardware store-get some fibreglass matting & a pot of resin & have ago at fixing it yourself. Wheels from a R34GTT may cost you second hand what a semi decent set brand new jobbies will cost. You can still transfer tyres across but if you change the rim size you WILL need new tyres too. There are plenty of cheap wheel deals going on at the moment so look around. DONT GO TOO BIG, DONT GET A 35PROFILE TYRE FOR THE STREET or track use if thats your intention-they weigh to much & a low low profile tyre sucks ass as all you are likely to do when you hit your 1st pot hole is break em my 2c
  18. I have done the R33Gtst brake upgrade on my R32Gtst, Hawk pads, Motul 600 brakes fluid with slotted R33 rotors, made a hell of a difference at last track day-cost around $600 all up too
  19. you could try looking at part numbers in Sydneykid Bilstein post & see if the are the same, that may help
  20. +1 for ERD for mechanical & EFI Performance just around the corner from ERD for Tuning, for what work I cant do myself I use these 2
  21. me neither lol
  22. Yeah Col, it is just too wet out there according to staff at the track, alot of water has fallen & they are worried as to whether the track will dry out enough for us to run safely as there is run off water coming into staging lanes & pit area is soaked. I called at 8am, 9am & again at 10am with the final call being made at 10. The staff at Willowbank said I could have called at 8am but I tried to hold it off as long as I could & asked if we could make the final call at 10am, which they agreed. In the interests of safety is the reason why we finally did call it off. I dont ever want a high speed crash by another due to my inadequacy to do the safe & right thing when I should have on my conscience. We all love our cars & love our Events more but the Events wont happen unless we have the cars & we wont have the cars if they all get wrecked at a wet track. Hope this is understood by all. We will run again as soon as we can get the replacement date sorted. Todd
  23. No worries Jon, we will keep you posted mate
