Yer well the oil will be getting dropped tomorrow. Any other reasons my car might be making this noise?

Hey Guys, I drove my car yesterday for the first time in a week and after I got home it was making a tappety noise coming from the motor. Temps and everything were normal so I'm not sure. I was thinking of dropping the oil since I don't know whats in it at the moment. I think the oil might be too thick because when I start the car up it idles at like 500rpm for 30 secs n then picks up to 1000rpm. Anything common with 32 GTRs that might cause this? Or am I just being paranoid lol. Thanks in advance Coxy

Suzuki Sierra. Best compact 4WD you will find. There are plenty around with mods all done just have a look in the trading post/ carsales etc. Or tell him to buy a normal car and go to www.edge.com.au and buy a piranha or baracuda kit and make yourself a lethal buggy

Just finished MGS4 on PS3. Currently working on getting the Big Boss Emblem, its f**king hard lol. Also playing Fifa 09, GTA IV and Dead Space. Only playing dead space at 2am with the lights off n the sound up though Love the PS3. Also reinstalled Guild Wars onto my comp but too boring after finishing everything.

The first pics are from the Autoshop website when the car was first imported. I only noticed when I got the car home that the badge had been removed. Called up Autoshop and Tim told me they debadge them while they're on the lot so kids don't come and steal em . I'm heading up there on Monday to get the badge back on.

Thanks again guys. Had it for a little over a week now and I just love it to death. I bought some new speakers for it today nothing over the top just some 6 x 4 2 ways for the doors and some 6in 2 ways for the parcel shelf. Had great fun taking the back seat out to get the parcel shelf out. For 2c worth a plastic those clips are pretty strong lol! Got my spring compressor tool the other day aswell so I'll be ordering some springs n shocks when I've got some spare cash n me n dad can fit them up. I'll be detailing the car tomorrow in preparation for the new years party we always have lol. I'll take some pics when its all done I went to the Spit with family n neighbours on Sunday aswell, a couple of the guys from boost cruising managed to get some pics of it. Here they are.

Grats on your purchase mate I picked up my GTR yesterday so I know how your feeling . For faster lap times without an increase in power I'd go for some suspension mods with a decent set of tyres. Ask in the Suspension and Brakes forum for advice on a brake upgrade. Good luck PS. Gotta love the GTR with P Plates I'm glad I don't have to display mine lol

Just have both like mine I don't really like GTRs without the wings. They just don't look right to me

Thanks for all the comments guys So pleased with it I've spent all of today doing Xmas shopping in it lol. It definetly gets a lot of looks Its gunna be a toss up between the multi spokes for the wheels. XD9s, CE28Ns or the new SSR Type Fs :S so many choices. Gotta sort out the bank balance first though lmao!

It baffles me how people by a car that they can't afford to insure. Logic is a lost art these days. Ah well hopefully this guy has learnt a lesson from what happened.

Thanks for all the replies guys I ended up buying a white GTR from Autoshop. They gave me a good price on my car and GTR is really straight and clean. Its a 94 model with N1 Bar inserts and N1 Front and Rear lips. It also has a Kakimoto catback exhaust. I made a thread in General Automotive that has all the pics in it I'm really really pleased with the car and Tim & Jason at Autoshop were really helpful and good to deal with. Would recommend them to anybody.
